hello everyone :) i had so much fun playing shows on the east coast! i did a show in philadelphia called "philly after dark"...it was kinda cable access-like...but it was interesting to see philly just a little bit. when i'm on tour i never get much time to see anything. i just get to drive by it in the van. but it looked like there would be a lot of cool warehouse spaces to live in there. then we( bobby z, cody, siam, and i) drove to NYC...i pretty much slept the way there since i hadn't slept AT ALL before i left. i always leave packing until the last minute... being in NYC again was FABULOUS! i adore nyc. i love eating hotdogs from the vendors. i stayed in this gorgeous very modern hotel called " the paramount". the lobby is AMAZING...go look at it if ever u r in NYC. the rooms are VERY small ( i'm talking REALLY small..like u feel like you're in japan) but they r so cool looking it does not matter. it was actually one of my fave hotels i've ever stayed in so far. i had 3 interviews with radio stations while i was there which will be edited and played later...i can't even remember which ones, but when ( and if ) i find out that they r being aired, i'll let u know. the show in NYC was at a place called don hill's and it was a night called "squeezebox". very transgender fetish playing great early 80's music. the crowd was sooooo kind and happy. it was my fave show i've had in a long time. i gave out candy necklaces to those in front of me :) i wish i had more to give! they were tasty :) i got to meet 4 people that have been hanging out in my IRC channel for practically a year! ( artlong, susz, mimi, and babette) it was so loud that we didn't even get to talk...so we tried to just motion to each other many hellos. i didn't want to leave nyc :( everytime i go there i never get to really explore it... then we drove to washington DC...my hair still had white paint in it from the night before and magic marker on my body( i draw on myself). the thing i've found that's great for touring is the sweatshirt i got when i was on the VIBE tv show. they gave me this super fuzzy hooded sweatshirt...and it is the BEST thing to wear when sleeping. it is about 5 times too big for me. it was the 2nd time i'd been in washington dc. i played there once before a few years back with my previous band ( the blue up?) this time i played for MEOW MIX at the 9:30 club. i have never seen much of washington DC...but from what i have seen, it seems like a very depressed city. lots and lots of poverty. and i really dislike the government...so all the statues and stuff to all the "BIG MEN" and their war war war war kinda bugs me. although i have to say, that it is still awe inspiring to walk around the capitol. i sprinkled gold glitter stars on the capitol that artlong gave me in nyc. but, there is just this ominous tense feeling i get when i go to DC. maybe it's just me...i've heard there is some great stuff there...i just haven't seen it yet. we were on 1st at the show...so it wasn't a ton of people for us...but the people that were there were very kind. :) and i got a great meow mix tank top! i'd like to play for that again :) but, for me, the highlight of being in DC was that i got to meet jenni from jennicam! she couldn't come to my show 'cause she had to bring a friend to the airport..so she came to my hotel after i got back...which was pretty late. i was already very tipsy...'cause it was the last night before i was going to go home and i decided to celebrate. she came by with her boyfriend geoffrey( sorry, if i'm spelling his name wrong..i don't know how to spell it!) and i ordered another drink for me, and she had tea. she is even prettier in "real life" and very very very nice and mellow. i was beyond hyper..i was talking a mile a minute and getting tipsyer! i hope i did not come across badly...i was just so dang hyper and excited from all of the east coast shows and getting no sleep. we talked for quite awhile about everything and it just made me very very happy :) she gets 70 MILLION hits a day! i thought i had a lot by getting 1 million. damn! what a lot of work to keep her cam going! after she went home...i went back up to my room and packed and got about 45 minutes of sleep before i had to get up to take a flight back home. when i got home i slept until 7 pm. now i have a bit of a cold and i just took some nyquil, so i'm going to take a nap soon. tomorrow i go to see kraftwerk in chicago! yay! i don't know when my next shows will be..but i'll let you know when i know. go to my music site : http://anavoog.com for info on where i'll be playing, many pictures of me, hear my music there, buy my cd there ( you can only get it on the net ...it's not available in stores yet) there are realvids of me from VIBE and hardcopy, too..as well as one i made myself( which is on the cd) you can hear my music and me talking if you call my free voice mail: 1-888-226-5907 join my mailing list by going to www.coollist.com and subscribe "anacam" my newsgroup is : alt.fan.ana-voog oh, and i got my hair cut very short. i like it . i think it's kinda "edie sedgewick". i almost shaved off all my hair...but i didn't. maybe i will again ....someday i hope u enjoyed that i brought my cam with me to the east coast. sorry the pix were kinda blurry and stuff. the cam i was using was not good ( intel...don't get that kind). i'm looking for a better looking cam that fits into a laptop. jp told me that i can get an attachment so that i can use my camcorder. that would be the best...'cause there were SO many cool things to take pictures of ...if only that cam had had zoom and focus. but i'm getting there bit by bit! lots to look forward to! i missed my dog and cat while i was gone...someday i'll be taking my dog with me! now i'm going to go lay down with the little fluff balls on the couch 'cause the nyqil is hitting me and i must rest to get well. oh, and i saw the truman show. good movie! luv and wishing i had a real bed, ana
