it's 6:30 am and i'm up for awhile. restless sleeping. i had a migraine all day. but i'm getting better now. i have my space heater on and things are getting pleasantly toasty.
i finally got some nice furniture to put my computers on, thanks to my friend zachary vex, who most kindly helps me with this site. i have a little bit more space to move around in here now. i still have a lot more cleaning and organizing to do. i just need more shelves.
zachary also hooked up 5 cams to a switch. so i have a cam in almost all the rooms now and when i move from room to room, i just swith on that camera. it's much nicer than dragging one around with me all over the house. i still need another cam 'cause the one i have for "the thing room" is too dark looking.
i've had to keep my cat locked in the bathroom a lot lately. she still will not poop in the box. so i bought her a new litterbox and litter and a better brand of food and locked her in the bathroom until she finally figures out to go in the box. it's driving me crazy, but i love her, so i have to keep just trying solutions. plus, pooka loves her,too. i feel sad for her locked in the bathroom.
i was interviewed by a music zine called CAKE and they took my picture, too. there is a link to CAKE in the ANArchives. i'm excited to see how it will turn out. whenever i give someone an interview, i don't know how they will choose to interpret what was said. sometimes the way they edit what i said, my sentences are taken completely out-of-context. so i hope this one turns out well. but everything i have done for CAKE usually turns out very well.
i also took my picture for a german magazine called MAX. i am REALLY excited about that! woo!
AND the coolest thing of all is that a very big german computer magazine called KONR@D voted me #1 most interesting site on the net!
i was pretty blown away by that! it's so weird when you don't even know that these people are writing about you. it's weird that they didn't contact me in any way.
also, in an upcoming episode of the PBS series, Internet Cafe is going to interview one of my archivists, Chrisr! i wish i could get to california so i could be more a part of it. that would be so cool! mtv3 finland even contacted me, but i don't have any videos yet, so they are trying to decide how to proceed.

there were a lot of anapix this weeek, and i picked a lot of faves, and i picked the winner this week to be "strange relationship" by freepop. he has won two times in a row now! go see his ANAmations at his site (of course, link to it in ANArchives:)
i'm trying to decide if i will go to my mother's for xmas. so maybe around xmas i might be gone a week. i don't know yet.
i haven't been into holidays much anymore. i just have no sense of time. and i haven't even begun to xmas shop.i have NO idea what to get anyone. i kind of like to buy people presents if i just happen to come across them and then just give them to my friends as surprises. i like to make the ordinary days more special.
i also would like to thank Noir for sending me a copy of Laurie Anderson's "The Nerve Bible." i have been wanting that book for some time! i am truly blessed :)
now i have to get a copy of brian eno's diaries :)
that's about all there is to say now. my brain is swirling with a million things. so fast i can hardly grasp what it is going on in there. i'm going back to sleep now, and when i wake up i'm going to have a nice hot bath and some tea and try to eat something. 'cause i hardly ate today because of my migraine.
