this was my view out my window when i went to NYC!
the hotel was kind of creepy,
like maybe it was an insane asylum eons ago. i dunno.
today it's called " the pennsylvania"
i don't recommend it at all!

this was what it looked like directly down,
out of my window.
i'm higher up than that
i zoomed in on this

zooming in at the top of the empire state building.
i love how the coloured it with red white and blue lights :)
it gave me the chills.

in the morning,
this is how it looked out my window

i didn't know the hotel was connected to where sally jesse and maury povich
do their talk show thing. here's the guy at the desk. he was the only nice one.

that guy on the right was a schmooze machine.
he didn't understanmd any other form of communication!
i grabbed him by the shoulders and looked him in the eye and said
"dude! you don't have to schmooze me!"
and he said something like " i'm not schmoozing you baby,
i just want to make sure you are happy!"
and then he pointed his finger at me in that swinger way and
and made that snap noise with his tongue.

it was creepier than the stepford wives

taking my picture by the poster of her in the lobby
was actually the nicest interaraction that i had with that
hollow exoskeleton of pure black void and bitter evil called "sally"

view down out of my window shows how high up i was.

this is my door in my hotel room.
this picture doesn't give it justice.
the door looked like a meat locker door.

the guy at the desk wanted to know about my camera so i showed him.
you can see my eyes are very sleepy.

i bought a yellow mum the night i arrived in NYC and cruised around with cris.

to my surprise he had never been to NYC before, and he just loved it so much.
it's fun to show someone a cool thing like NYC for the first time.
we walked and walked, but over to central park and finally to carnegie deli.

the next day we had planned to go get as close to ground zero as we could, but that never happened because our planes left about an hour after the show :(

i didn't get any more pictures of NYC than this. :(
when i went for the walk with cris, we were only going to walk around the block
to get some fresh air. i didn't know we would walk for hours and i could have taken pictures of SO many cool things. like all the flowers and notes on this one fireman place.
it was really so moving.
why didn't i bring my camera??
*knocks myself on the head*

more details about this as i garner my energy back. it was a pretty cruel thing , that show.

i think i'll have to write it down in bits and pieces like this
