To Market Online Celebrity Ana Voog www.MusicBlvd.com/anavoog NEW YORK, April
30 /PRNewswire/ -- N2K's Music Boulevard Network and Radioactive Records have
joined forces in a unique campaign to market and promote online performance
artist Ana Voog's debut album ``anavoog.com''. The album is currently available
for pre-order exclusively on N2K's Music Boulevard (MusicBlvd.com). As part
of this ground-breaking campaign, fans are able to download Ana's single, ``Hollywood''
exclusively from N2K's Music Boulevard using e_mod(TM).
Ana Voog first caught the public's attention with her Web site, anacam.com. Up and running for the last year, the site chronicles Ana's daily life through cameras set up throughout her apartment in Minneapolis. Voog's Web site, anacam.com, receives millions of hits per month and fans exchange messages and create enhanced depictions of still photos taken from Ana's site that are sent back and shared with fans in the Ana Pix gallery.
Voog's, ``anavoog.com'' -- the first ever CD to be named for a Web site -- was produced by former Prince and the Revolution drummer Bobby Z and is enhanced with interviews and comments from Voog that can be accessed through a CD-ROM drive. As part of the promotion, Radioactive Records and the Music Boulevard Network will implement an online, grassroots marketing campaign that will focus on Voog's established fan-base as well as the online universe accessible via the Music Boulevard Network.
``When Gary Kurfirst, President of Radioactive Records, first approached us about Ana Voog, we knew immediately that Ana was the perfect artist to launch her marketing campaign via N2K's Music Boulevard. As an artist born of the Internet, Ana is perfectly suited to benefit from the growing popularity of e-commerce and in particular music sales online. This Music Boulevard Network campaign will involve all the content, community and commerce benefits of the Network to support the launch of 'anavoog.com'. Working together with Radioactive Records, we are looking forward to helping to make Ana's debut a success both online and offline,'' said David Pakman, vice president, Business Development, Music Boulevard Network. ``I'm just really excited with all of the possibilities of combining my music with the constantly evolving Internet. I'm happy that my album will be available to all my fans around the world,'' said Radioactive recording artist, Ana Voog. Aided and abetted by keyboardist D. Fink (Prince and the Revolution), Ana poured her heart and soul into the music on ``anavoog.com,'' singing lead and backing vocals, and writing all but one song. ``This new album is all me,'' notes Ana, ``and all electronic keyboards, which is something I hadn't done before.''
