lili has been sitting up unassisted!
also, yesterday, she STOOD unassisted for 3 seconds!
i was shocked!!
she is eating more solids food and so far i have not found anything she dislikes
except for grape juice and prunes.
she is still being as sweet as pie, but definitely with a stubborn streak,
like her mom :)
she is creature of sensuality and impulse!
taking care of her continues to be a joy and an honour.
her laugh is becoming more complex and hilarious.
nothing about her is too much of a struggle. she is a happy child :)
she is my button mushroom, a fresh baked bread bowl filled with sweet cream
whipped butter!
13 days until the wedding!
we're in the countdown!
there is still so much to do so lili is staying with my mom for a few days
while m and i try and get the last of everything over and done with.
i miss my bean ferociously.
i found some boots that match my
dress for $23!
cream coloured patent go-go type boots.
my dress is a little bit girly alice in wonderland in cream.
simple just past the knee.
then i have a white crinoline to put underneath and white fishnets and a pearl
necklace.
(my engagement ring is also a pearl :)
i'm having my hair done on tuesday
in white and blonde synth dreads that i will tossle all up and add daisies
to.
my bouquet will be daisies.
so i guess my total look is kind
of an alice in wonderland goes to tea meets a sci fi rastafarian faerie that
just skipped though a field of daisies in some psychedelic go go boots.
so that is just....so ME :)
and the entire outfit cost only about $150 (except for the hair which costs
a small fortune)
not the typical bride with that look and at 42!
we're having a simple short ceremony,
married by my dad, in a nearby park.
then the reception is at a french style brasserie where M proposed to me.
right after the reception, we will jet of to NYC!
i cannot wait to call M my husband
and for him to call me his wife :)
