i am soooooo tired and i have a
cold now on top of it.
i really hope i don't give lili the cold :(
i finally got her to fall asleep and m should be home soon and then i can sleep, too.
yesterday the swing ran out of batteries which was a major emergency, so i had to put lili in the antique pram from the 30's and walk to the drugstore even tho my toe is infected (ingrown toenail from a year ago...i finally have an appt. with a doctor next week for it. god, i am so nervous)...and got some batteries.
with the huge pram and me with my
mohawk i felt like i had a huge blinking neon sign with arrows pointing at
me. i felt super self conscious and awkward. i was glad when it was all over
with.
lili managed well in the pram, actually falling asleep by the time i got to
the store...but i had to stop every 1/2 block to put the pacifier back in
her mouth. and it was hard to maneuver around on the sidewalk a bit. a realized
more what people in wheelchairs have to deal with wheeling around and trying
to find automatic doors and ramps. not fun.
lili always makes the same delighted
chirps and squeaks whenever i change her diaper.
she is a strange bird.
i played her classcial music today. she liked boccherini.
she has discovered sucking on her fingers. not quite putting them in her mouth but putting them up to her mouth and then trying to suck them...making cute fishy smacky sounds.
she smiled a lot today and every
day i can even get a tiny little laugh out of her.
it's the best thing on earth.
she sometimes smiles and laughs when
i say "beep beep beep beep" while pushing her cute little button
nose :)
and sometimes she smiles after she farts and that is hilarious.
her voice sounds like she sucked on a million helium balloons.
i love her soooooooo much!
