i am pissed at the girl who sold
my the silver paint a year ago that i was going to use to paint my floors.
i should have asked to see a sample of it painted. i guess i should be pissed
at myself for being so clueless. but you would think the people selling you
the paint would be the ones who should know.
a painted a bit on the wall to try it out and the stuff is thin and like a
glaze. and it's more grey than silver.
it's lame.
and it would take 700 coats before it would ever be opaque.
forget about it.
i want silver paint that is SILVER and SINY and OPAQUE like METAL, you know?
SILVER.
now i have to rethink the floors.
my back is killing me.

working on a bedspread made from
all handspun yarn
(a project i started eons ago and will probably finish eons from now)
the yarn shown is all made by pinkpeppercorns.com
and an antique pram my mom got me
for $55!
it is made by motoride and i think it might be from the 30's?
it needs to be cleaned up.
I LOVE IT!!! :)
it also all folds up, totally works, and it swings, as well!

today at noon my mom is coming over
with the crib and a ton of
other baby things.
i will write more after she returns home.
i took my dad out yesterday for a belated birthday lunch.
and i went to jason's to take care of kiyoshi and i started watching the showtime
series "dexter" on demand.
what a creepy good show!
