6:12pm

i feel craptacular today.
calling my mom did not help.
sometimes she can be such a help to me and sometimes she can just be...not.
i feel nauseous, shaky, overwhelmed

3:18pm

it was my 1st mother's day :)
i know i was not supposed to officially celebrate it since the child is still inside me.
but *I* think it counts, so there :P

M bought me a pizza and i bought my mom a pizza :)

i'm just hanging in there. aches, pains, insomnia, exhaustion
interspersed with love, affection, snuggling, tv

reading books, adding yarn to my hair for length.

today is bjork in colorado. i had tickets for it but sold them because we could not afford to get there.
part of me is very sad i am not there today but part of me is relieved because i am very achey and tired.

sorry i have not been writing much. i am just so tired.

loss of eyelashes

i'm 29 weeks pregnant today and last night i noticed that i have lost a lot of eyelashes.
like they are 1/2 the length they used to be and way thinned out.
also my eyebrows have thinned a bit.
i don't know why i didn't notice this was happening until now, and i have no idea when it started.
everything about me, otherwise, seems fine and "normal".
i know that changes in hair are common but i haven't heard anything about eyelashes and such...
but i am wondering is this has happened to anyone else...

abuot the bees:

f all the bees disappeared, i do wonder how it would ultimately effect us.
i think a lot of it has to do as to why they are disappearing.
as many have said, the bees are the canary is the coalmine, so them disappearing could be (most likely, imo) a symptom of a larger problem, and will eventually (or already is) affecting more species than just bees.

everything is connected, and so it is really impossible, imo, to say that we can exist without bees. because without bees there might stop existing a whole bunch of other things, as well...and so on and so on. a chain reaction

so i think it's too early to say how drastically we would be affected by the disappearance of all the bees. i mean, it's never happened, so how can we really say one way or the other?

maybe einstein did not know everything there is to know about bees, but perhaps he was coming at it from the angle that all things are connected instead of just humans direct connection to bees?
still there is no way he could know, or any of us can know

that being said, i do not believe humans could survive (for a very long time) on vats of spirulina on the moon :)
we are very resilient but also way more fragile and connected to the earth than many of us would like to admit.
