M came home with white roses and lilys for me :)

birthday shopping with mom!
got 2 pairs of leggings for me and a top (maternity)
i had a really hard time finding anything that did not assault my senses.
fashion these days is HORRENDOUS.
got some things for the baby:
100% cotton simple little onesies, one piece pj things, receiving blankets
2 pacifiers, a bumblebee teething ring
again, really hard to find simple things that do not have slogans and cute
things embroiderd on them.
i do not need things that say "i love mommy" embroidered all over
them, y'know?
i'm not that insecure.
and i got a babybjorn baby carrier in black.
it is soft and lightweight and machine washable.
oo, and a pink fuzzy one piece thing
with a hood for winter :)
she'll look like a a stuffed animal :) ha :)
and i got some disposable diapers for newborns because i am not going to wash
things like cloth doapers the 1st week. i'll probably want to lay in bed as
much as possible.
it was emotional to buy things for
the baby....things it may wear for the 1st time ever!
i kept getting all teared up and feeling silly for it, but i could not help
it :)
tomorrow is my 41st birthday!
i'm going up to my grandpa's old barn and going to take my photo in front
of it with my belly :)
then lunch with dad.
m bought cake baking supplies and he is going to nake me a cake :)
white with white frosting. my fave :)
i'm washing the baby things now so
they are all clean and pre shrunk and smell good :)
it feels good to have the very basics all ready!
i started crocheting a little baby blanket with a hat that attaches to it.
so i can swaddle her in it.
i have NO idea what i am doing, just making it up as i go.
made in white cotton.
m got new snazzy glasses!
it was another beautiful day.
i hope it continues tomorrow for my birthday
i am so sleepy now.

i'll get a new anagram up tomorrow night.
today was a busy day doing errands and going for walks and the weather was
fantastic!
tomorrow i get together with my mom and she is taking me to lunch for my birthday
(which is the next day)
so a lot going on!
and cam2 will be working again sometime tomorrow, as well.
i moved the computer that was on into the thing room and need to get it hooked
up.
so lots of words and pix to come tomorrow but now i must sleep :)
