and they CAN get connected, after a scare of not being able to for a minute
there.
so i prayed to the universe to PLEASE get me connected.
because i have worked oh so extra specially hard for this show, and i rreeeeaallly
want to say i played at the knitting factory.
so YES, it MUST BE!

getting psyched.
not until an hour or 10 minutes do i go on.

ok, sorry that on the cams you have
to watch a premade show on the small cam, and then that same show in 1/2 the
came on the big cam.
but i am afriad if i take it off and try to figure out how to reconfigure
it back that way for my show, i will not be able to do it.
i really wanted to do the premade show for the knitting factory because i
think it is so good, yet i also must be live.
this way i can show my premade show on 1/2 the image and live on 1.2 the image.
something i have never done befreo so i am excited that i figured out i can
do that.
i also wanted to address that "it's hard out here for a pimp" won
on oscar for best song while "crash" one for best movie.
i don't see why more people cannot see just how completely fuct that is.
it's like people are just so damn happy they got hip hop on the oscars that
they cannot see it is a song that glamourized and rejoices in the oppression
of women via pimps.
it's disgusting.
i don't know how many of you watched the oscars last night but that entire
"pomp" of that song was really offensive to women.
pomp pimp.
they even had a black women singing the main part of it as if she felt empathy
for the fucking pimp.
i am thoroughly grossed out.
i am all for legalizing prostitution.
and i am for clean, safe, consensual prostitution.
i think prostitutes should go to school for what they do.
i think they should be taught in healing and be seen as healers, and raised
to the status of doctors.
but the way prostitution works now, for the most part, especially with a pimp,
is nothing less than sexual slavery.
and to glorify that is COMPLETELY FUCKED UP.

today i, thankfully, remembered to
pay my electric bill.
it was due to get shut off today *whew*
tonight's show is at the knitting factory in NYC and i REALLY hope things
work out and go well.
i got some good sleep but had some weird dream that i had a baby centipede
and i was trying to get it to follow me and learn how to follow me along dangerous
logs that were flowing in a river.
it found a spider web that reached from one log onot a tree and it started
going up that, and up there was wasps...the centipede was supposed to be a
baby wasp btu it was still a baby centipede, or it was was also kind of like
a wasp that had no wings yet.
the other wasps sting it and the baby fell back into the river in 3 parts.
i called him sebastian and i was screaming his name everywhere trying to find
one of the parts of him to see if any part of him was still alive.
i saw lots of other baby wasp/centipedes/worms making their way along this
arduous journey on the river, but it was not my baby.
i kept calling and calling and trying to find my baby but i could not.
i did not know what to do or whether to jsut keep on going or to wait and
see if i could find him or if it was a lost cause.
i was heartbroken and felt like a terrible mother.
