thank god for jason helping me.
he made me a cd to send to annie and then a cd for me and now he is uploading the soundfiles to my site.
so you will all be able to download them.
i am putting them on anacam in case annie's cd breaks for any reason and she needs to reburn it.
and i am going to make you, ana2 members, a folder now so you can have them.
one will be my music piece which has a loop from a digital delay pedal that was humming this note and i could not make it stop, so i just decided to incorporate it and i sang along to it. that is the base note of it all.
you have to make use of mistakes and turn them into something you can use to your advantage.
that is the definintion of "joba" in a way.

then there is the talking piece where i start talking on one track, just rambling, like i do, to an egg timer set for 10 minutes.
when the dinger goes off i start talking again where i left off on track and so on and so forth until all 4 tracks are filled.

it's funny because i never did get to the point of anything i was trying to say.
which totally summarized me by not summarizing.
i say everything and nothing.
it's very funny :)

then there is the track where we out the 2 together.
the music less loud than the talking (except for the part where i am singing these high notes and then sebastian starts "singing" along...and i'm like oh fuck....but again, i incorporate the "accidents" in and just have sebastian sing along with me for the rest of the track.)

so i have to make a flyer/art piece, doodle drawing that says all this.
maybe it will just say what i have typed here. i don't know.

and then i copy those off tomorrow and then i am going to TRY to either leave lipstick kisses or handprints on each on (which is 2,600 times)
so people feel they have something real and tangible of me to take home.

i will make enough for all ana2 members, as well.
and send them all to you if you send me a self addressed stamped envelope.
otherwise i will just make a file you can print out.

actually, ya,, just print the file out (when it is up) send it to me in a self addressed stamped envelope and i will return it to you with either a kiss, handprint, or signature.
or all three or combination.
heck, i'm making this up as i go along , as usual.

so...
off to work more now.

and i'll tell you where to download the soundfiles when they have uploaded.

ok, my soundpiece is 10 minutes and 37 seconds.
it's completely insane and pretty much summarizes my brain and why it cannot be summarized.
the people who will have to listen to it every night are probably going to hate me by the end of the tour!
i apologize in advance to those i am about to drive nuts.

now to work on making 5 2 foot by 2 foot things of my photography which i will then have laminated tomorrow morning and then send off.
holy farging cow i still have a lot of work ahead of me.
but at least the soundpiece is done and that is a load off my back.

cannot have incense at my shows 'cause a few of the over performers are smell sensitive.
bummer, but i understand.
well, at least i have a bunch of nag champa here for myself :)

i can have candles in the places that they will allow fire.
so at least i will have that at times. scent was more important to me, tho, because it is more far reaching and emotional. but hey, having fire once in awhile is better than no fire at all :)
so yay for that :)

got some cokes, eggs, cheese, scotch tape.
i found where the printing place moved to and asked them if i can get everything i need printed and laminated by tomorrow and they said yes. so i will go in there in the morning and get that done and then go to the p.o. and overnight everything.
jason is coming home now and he will help me figure out his software for getting my soundpieces off of my 4 track and onto cd and stuff.

my cheque from lionbrand did not come today :(
and then i got an email from one of them

"Thanks for sending the hat - and the other item- which I don't know what to call it.
Regarding payment, I'd like to pay you $350 for the hat - and I can return the other thing.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it, and had been hoping for another hat or something that could drape like a garment on a mannequin. We didn't have any way to display the fur thing you sent.
Hope you're okay with this. This is how we work with other designers if they are working very free form. Let me know if it's a problem. We'd like to get you to do a coat for us - and can work out the same kind of arrangement.

i've already sent them a bill but i guess they want a new one from me MINUS the payment i thought i would get for the SCARF.

so now i have that part solved as well AND she gave this great psycho looking owl wallhanging thing from the 70's.
i am going to spray paint it silver, i think, like my other owl.
oh i love it SO much.

i wish i had some nag champa incense.
i would also like to send a stick for every show and then also burn a stick here so that i am also connecting with my audience with scent.
and also send some votive candles with, one for each show so that we can be connected through fire.
and show exact type of candle on my cam so they make that connection.
i have to think of how i can get some nag champa.

wrote in all my dates for the tour on my calendar.
so many! i really hope that on the 11th i can do my show and still make it to see akron family.
for valentine's i will make it for our reservations then i rush home to do my show.
i'm not sure if i will make it or not to see animal collective on the 26th, but if i go on 1st, i might be able to.
then i wrote down the dates i go to portal north dakota to start making my movie, and i realized that i leave on Easter!
how fitting :)
and i come home on earth day.
the day after my birthday passover ends.
and i come home on earth day or orthodox easter (whatever orthodox easter is).
leave on easter , come back on easter :)
i think that is hilarious :)

now i must make up a flyer artpiece thing that has my info on it and who i am and what i do and all my urls and doodle artwork all over it and then make copies of this.
i figure i should make 100 copies for each show. and that would be 2,600 pieces of paper which at 6 cents a copy would be $156 , which i do not have in my bank today.
so maybe i can do that tomorrow.
maybe i will make the flyers 1/2 that size so 2 can fit on one piece of paper and that way it will cost 1/2 that.
i sure hope i get that cheque from lionbrand soon.
i need it now!
maybe it is in my mailbox today.
i sure hope so.

wrote to annie, the founder and coordinator of this all and hope to fiddle around with IRC with her a bit so we have that settled.
every 3rd campix is going to be a collage of past campix so people can see now and then.
i will make my cam go every 20 seconds.
so that is 30 pictures, 10 of which will be past campix.
and in each of those will be 4 pictures. so i need to pick 40 of my best campix and then make collages from those.
then i hope i can set my cam so that every 4rd campic shows that.
and i am making flashcards so i can also communicate that way in my campictures as well as IRC.
so much to doooo............

gotta stop typing now and just do.
go take a bath, get some food, buy some cokes.
make my flyer, get hats ready.
put soundpiece on cd.

today i must mix my soundpieces and put them on a cd.
also make up a one page thing that has all my info on it and explains who i am and what i do and other stuff like that and xerox those off so everyone in the audiences can have one.
and then get 3 hats together and tomorrow overnight all of this to annie of the sex workers art show so she can have it by thursday because the show is on friday!
ack!
so much to do!
oh man, i just thought of all the other thigns i have to do, too!
