i actually had my 1st relaxing day in ages.
i didn't stress about anything much.
i stayed in my pajamas.
i FINISHED a hat! (while watching the sound of music)
unbelievable! the 2nd hat i have actually FINISHED this year!
i like it. it's bright orange with miniature ceramic toy teacups :)
and then started a skinny scarf that has wooden spools on it.
very wonderful to crochet today and just BE.
just create for the sake of relaxing and creating.
i needed a day like this SO much.
i need many more days like this.
of course, as i crochet i still think about my movie and how much work i have to do and how can i SIMPLIFY?
but mostly it was good to just be by myself, stay off the computer mostly.
and RELAX.
tomorrow i will take a good picture of the hat.

the goose bones i spray painted silver a week ago are sticky.
like the paint will not completely dry.
i don't know why.
what kind of paint would be best to paint bones?
i thought spray paint would be good.
isn't spray paint enamel?

i'm still trying to digest what on earth my intense discussion with my mom's husband was about.
we covered so much ground in so little time,
it whizzed by and semed like a dream.
i wish i could go back and hear it from a new perspective.
it WAS good but it was ODD.
i don't really want to digest any of it.
but it's in the stomache of my mind going through that process whether i like it or not.

time for bed.

i am just completely wiped!
from the last few intense as heck days...from finding out about the cancer in a person i am close to, the guy and the penis who would not stop emailing me, then the sociopathic rabbi and talking to a woman who was raped by him yesterday and helping her to heal, to last night talking to my mom's husband and sort of patching things up with him a bit (too much to get into, too little energy to write about it)...i'm am completely completely wiped out.
all i want to do today is stare and recharge my batteries. i have given out SO much energy. i was running on pure adrenalin for days.
i have to just really zone out today and do absolutely nothing.
i am FRIED. completely and utterly fried.

In Norse mythology, Bifrost is the bridge between Midgard, the realm of man, and Asgard, the realm of the gods. Since it is the only way for the giants to enter Asgard it is closely guarded by Heimdall, the watchman of the gods.
Bifrost was made of three colors with magic and great skill by the Aesir and is incredibly strong. It is also called Asbru, referring to its makers. At the end of the cosmos, this rainbow-bridge will collapse.

Primal Chaos
In Ancient Greek Cosmology Chaos was the first thing to exist and the womb from which everything emerged. For Hesiod and the Olympian Mythos, Chaos was the 'vast and dark' void from which the first deity Gaea emerged. In the Palasgian Creation Myth, Eurynome ('goddess of everything') emerged from this Chaos and created the Cosmos from it. For the Orphics it was called the 'Womb of Darkness' from which the Cosmic Egg that contained the Universe emerged. Sometimes conflated with 'Black Winged Night'.

The idea is also found in Mesopotamia and associated with Tiamat the 'Dragon' of Chaos, from whose dismembered body the world was formed.

Primal Chaos was sometimes said to be the true foundation of reality, particularly by philosophers such as Heraclitus and those trained in 'Orphic' schools. It was the opposite of Platonism. It was also probably what Aristotle had in mind when he developed the concept of Prima Materia in his attempt to combine Plato with the Presocratics and Naturalists. It was a concept inherited by the theory of Alchemy.

It has more recently been revived in Chaos Magic.
