HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMETT!

i had a rather crappy sleep. then
woke up at 6am to pee and noticed my computer wasn't working very well.
so i worked on it and scanned it for 2 hours until it was ok. but i didn't
get back to sleep until 10am and then sort of 1/2 slept a nervous sleep until
3pm. and i have a headache. i had one all day yesterday and i still have it
now.
it's such a drag and really is getting to me now.
and my monitor is whacking out on me. all the colours are COMPLETELY off.
i need a new computer again.
i'm just going to have a mellow sunday
and at 7pm it's the season finale of survivor.
i just have to clean a bit and so errands. and by that time it will be 7,
i suppose, then i'll crawl inot bed and watch survivor and hopefully go to
bed early.
and it wouldn't be fair to not leave you without a conspiracy theory today now, would it? :)
jason pointed out to me today this
little keychain weight watchers gave him when he lost 10 pounds and he remarked
it had masonic symbols on it.
so for the heck of it i looked up weight watchers and masonic connections
and could find many except that a lot of weight watchers meetings happen in
masonic meeting places.
then i did an image search and was surprised t find that MOST weight watchers
scales (not all) said 128.3
well, i thought, THAT is an odd and
arbitrary number to just keep showing up on almost all the scales.
so i researched 128.3 and i found that there is a surprising amount of 128.3
things out there.
one being this embroidered swam thing that was exactly 128.3 cm by 128.3 cm.
and i thought how bizarre taht one would make a thing with exactly those measurements
SQUARE and with a swan on it.
and it happened to also say that 128.3 cm was 50.5 inches.
so i googled 50.5 and masonic stuff, sure enough, 50.5 came up over and over
again.
so i decided to google 505 and discovered that the #505 if the number (in
gematria) for Malkuth!
malkuth is the lowest thing on the tree of life and stands for earth and the
number 10 and is ruled by capricorn,
so it's symbol is the goat headed god that the masons are so obsessed with.
the goat headed god, baphomet, often thought of as the devil.
not only this, but there are a SURPRISINGLY
huge amount of masonic lodges whose addresses just "happen" to be
505 something. either that or they will get a 505 in their phone #.
it's really quite weird.
(but there are also a lot of masonic
lodges that DON'T have 505)
still, even if this is all just a coincidence...it is a weird coincidence!
(oh, i found out yesterday that chagall, the painter, was also a mason...surprise
surprise)
and escher, too, but i think i told
you that already.

Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun - Pink Floyd
Little by little the night turns around
Counting the leaves which tremble at dawn
Lotuses lean on each other in the early morn
Under the leaves the swallow is resting
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Over the mountain watching the watcher
Breaking the darkness waking the grapevine
One inch of love is one inch of shadow
Love is the shadow that ripen's the wine
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
The heart of the sun
Witness the man who raves at the wall
Making the shape of his question to heaven
Whether the sun will fall in the evening
Will he remember the lesson of giving
Set the controls for the heart of the sun

Horoscope for Aries (December 11 2005)
Give some thought to your next professional or financial move. You may want to put together a proposal or plan that will help you move in that direction. You can convince others to share your vision.
and
Calm down
Weak, transient effect: This morning is not a good time to discuss any issues
that are critical to you, because you will find it difficult to maintain your
equilibrium and not fly off the handle. On the other hand, if someone challenges
you unjustifiably, you certainly won't back down without a fight. The main
problem is that your sense of perspective may be so distorted that you cannot
tell the important issues from the trivial ones and will defend both with
equal vigor. There is also the risk that you will act hastily on many matters,
impulsively and without foresight or planning. All you seem to care about
is exercising your will and getting your own way. Obviously with this influence,
you must try to calm down and be willing to compromise on any issue that is
not really central to you.
and
Sunday morning the moon moves into Taurus and we get the vision of resources. How something pleases us is more important to discern then possessing the thing, action or person itself. Sundays are great days for reflection anyway, go with it, how do you define beauty, harmony and plenty? What do they mean to us is a great place to start. They are just presets of our consciousness that we are constantly updating. Most actions are for gaining one or more of them, relationships all revolve around them. So a few moments just contemplating them today could give us a real bottom line look at what motivates our motivations. It's a lot to do for a Sunday but it can all be accomplished from the bath!
and
You may be raring to go, only to find that you run out of steam early in the day. If you can find an even pace, however, you'll improve your chances of accomplishing what you want. There is no need to hurry in the morning, for life will unfold today at a rhythm that is out of your control.

Despite these early limitations, the pioneers of crude mechanical television demonstrated basic principles of picture scanning and synchronization of transmission and reception. They also glimpsed the medium's potential for storytelling. In 1928, the first live drama broadcast, a three-camera production called "The Queen's Messenger," was received on a General Electric Octagon set in Schenectady, New York. In 1931, the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) broadcast experimental signals from the Empire State Building, featuring a familiar cartoon character, Felix the Cat. The first TV star was born.

acme \ACK-mee\, noun:
The highest point of something; the highest level or degree attainable.
In 1990 Iraq's Saddam Hussein aimed to corner the world oil market through
military aggression against Kuwait (also aimed at Saudi Arabia); control of
oil, a product of land, represented the acme of his ambitions.
--Richard Rosecrance, The Rise of the Virtual State
So we drove around looking at daffodils and exploring countryside hamlets
instead of lakeside tourist traps. These should not be scorned, however, by
a browser interested in the curious categories of British humor, one of which
achieves a kind of acme in funny postcards on sale in such places. "The
weather's here," went one postcard I saw, "I wish you were lovely."

3, 1986

Music of the Stone: O. Mandelstam’s Early Poetry
(Alexander Pantelyat)
By about 1910, Russian literature was at a crossroads: the Symbolists had
come to dominate Russian poetry, but were challenged by a younger generation
that strove to break away and establish new directions. The Acmeists (from
the Greek akme—the highest degree of something, “a time of flowering”)
were one such group that sought to use words more objectively, accusing the
Symbolists of being too subjective and mystical with words and their meanings.
The Acmeists saw themselves primarily as craftsmen, preferring Apollonian
architecture (i.e., building poems) to Dionysian music, the epitome of Symbolist
poetry. Osip Mandelstam, arguably the greatest Russian poet of the 20th century,
left the Symbolists and joined the Acmeist movement in 1912. Stone, his first
collection of poems, was received and interpreted as an Acmeist body of work
that was architectural, not musical. In this study, a detailed analysis of
Stone’s poems attempted to show that in fact music was a key element
in this collection. The poems were analyzed formally, and their context and
subtext were examined as well in an attempt to identify salient musical elements.
Also, relevant details from Mandelstam’s life were presented in support
of the argument. As a result, it was found that Stone’s verse is at
once musical and songlike. It was concluded that Stone actually represents
Mandelstam’s transition from Symbolism to Acmeism. Mandelstam never
forgot the Symbolist Paul Verlaine’s exhortation “Music before
all!” even as he joined the Acmeists, and this is evident in a number
of Stone’s poems. The implication of the paper is that a great poet
and his work can never be pigeonholed into a single movement or idea, even
if s/he ostensibly identifies with one.

10 THE SPHERE OF MALKUTH
http://www.freemasonrywatch.org/baphomet.html
The Goat is known to all of us through the ancient science of Astrology first developed by the Chaldeans, or as they are commonly known; Babylonians. The Goat symbolizes male fertility, and is known, to even those who peruse the daily astrology columns of the local newspaper, as representing the astrological sign of Capricorn; Dec. 22 to January 22. Capricorn is a combination of both a Goat and and a fish. According to J.E.. Cirlot in his Dictionary of Symbols; this dual aspect refers to the dual tendencies of life towards the abyss ( or water) " or chaos of the beginning of time, and " the heights or mountains " or order and malkuth (the earth) as symbolized by the goat aspect.
