got a lot done today!
finally made it to the p.o. box to pick up some packages and send one off.
did anyone here send me an express mail package to my p.o. box around september 24th?
because they kept it for 15 days and then sent t back :(
i don't go to the p.o. box very often, but if you ever send me something express, let me know beforehand so i can get there to pick it up ('cause otherwise i don't go there very often)!
sorry about that to whoever it was that sent whatever it was to me almost a month ago.

man, i am so lucky everyone is sending me these delicious smelling things lately!
every day i spray vanilla all over my house from jae and now i have opium incense and 2 scented candles. YUM!

so i got to the p.o. and i got to the bank, and i got to the drugstore...
and i went to the department store to get a refill on my makeup foundation and toner that i need for my skin to look 1/2 way decent :)
and i went and got some berryveiss beer which is super super yumy and now i am going to blast new wave on my tiny boombox in the thingroom and tackle the mounds of paper sitting there.
you really do need beer to do your taxes, yes you do. there really is no other way to deal with it.
(ok, there are others ways, i lie :)

but beer = gooooooooood.

i got 2 form letters from a high school in iceland (one to anna voog and one to rachel olson...both misspelled)
asking me to donate money. wtf?

"i am writing on behalf of the A.T. Mahan High School's parent teacher student organization (ptso). A.T. Mahan serves children of U.S. military members at naval air station, keflavik ieland..."

"....to prepare for the class of 2006 auction scheduled for early spring , we are soliciting donations from celebrities and dignitaries from around the world..."

BIZARRE.

how on earth did i get on the weird ass list of a high school in iceland?
i'm happy they see me as a celebrity, but still, wtf?
can't even spell EITHER of my names correctly and a form letter not even signed by a real human?

lame!

they want me to give money for "scholarships for civic support". what does that even mean?
and i am seriously bummed out to find that we have usa military in ICELAND of all places to have yet ANOTHER frickin' naval air station. also how can it be naval AND air? isn't the navy about boats?
i'm confused.

i thought iceland had no military. that is one of the big reasons i wanted to move there is because they have no military (because they have nothing to steal except herring and faeries...both of which i love!)

but iceland has no military because WE are their military? is that what the deal is?
bigtime bummerland.

ok, off to burn opium incence, light my candles, play happy new wave and deal with mounds of paper and drink happy beer.

did the usual, wake up, email, add up winners of photocontest, lj friends list, archive anagram, make new one (this one)
think about shit.
now to do anacam biz in the thing room.
then to the bath and then to the drugstore to refill my prescriptions.
then work on taxes more (sorting piles of paper by year and then by month and then by category)
i can't believe it is almost november.
time has no meaning.
where did the summer go?
i don't care. this was such a shitty year i really don't care.
i'm looking forward to winter.
toasting in a new year, making a new record.
i am no longer in 2005. i have left.
maybe for 2006 it should be all nude all year?

fuck, in 6 months i'll be 40.
what should i do?
i can't decide how to celebrate it.
