got back from eating. i'm in such a good mood :)
took more pictures. my toy camera i've been using has this "defect" that if things are moving by it quickly, or you move the camera very quickly it doesn't blur the picture so much as warp it. so buildings look like they are melting and stuff :)
that is my new fun thing to do now :)
lots of pictures will be up soon :)

but 1st i'm going to snuggle with jason and watch CSI :)

wow, jason and i explored this whole other area today and i cannot BELIEVE all the things i have not yet seen around here! a huge abandoned building i call "the castle", 2 caves, this huge area that looks like it's going to be made into a park with 2 ponds, tons of ravines and tunnels and this amazing place in the sandstone cliffs that you can climb to the top and sit in a pile of sand and a hole to climb through, i can't even begin to say what it all is! i am googling the history of this whole area (swede hollow)and it's fascinating. i swear their are elves and faeries there, i just KNOW it! i took a ton of pictures. definitely where we went is where the homeless people go. they always find the coolest spots. everytime i think i've discovered the coolest secret spot...tons of homeless where there before me. in fact, lots of people were wandering around in places that i had no idea ever even existed!
how did all these people know of this place? there are no signs that point to it or explain it or anything. sidewalks that start in the middle of nowhere and go nowhere, stone or cement steps that go nowhere. obviously there are a lot of buildings missing!
and i got to the cave! you can't go in it but i was at the mouth of it.

but 1st jason and i are going out to eat. we walked for 2 hours and now we are hungry.
i was running around like a little mountain goat :) i felt SO energized and complete AWAKE and ENGAGED in the world.
haven't been that AWAKE and AWARE in quite awhile. just totally in the here and now and completely aware and angaged in everything. i LOVE to explore. i'm such a little scavenger always searching for secret places and treasure :)
i could have walked and walked and walked for many more hours and then done a million jumping jacks!
i am surprising myself with how much energy i have today!
it feels SO fabulous to have energy!
i wish i could go explore this place alone but it seems like the kind of place that would be perfect to abduct someone.
so i would be wary of going to this place alone. but damn i so want to! i hate being a woman sometimes!
i want to go draw things in coloured chalk on the sidewalks that go nowhere!

gonna go for a walk at 2pm. we will try to get closer up to the cave.
68 degrees. i see teeny amount of sun here and there.
