wrote my dad a big long email explaining everything.
so now that is over with.
i know he will be very unhappy with me for getting a restraining order on my mom.
but whatever.

finally my day is winding down.
still have more business to tend to.
catching up on everything.
but at 11pm i am going to crawl into bed and wacth star trek.

i didn't really get to see that "revelations" miniseries much
as i was emailing my dad during it but it looked pretty awful.
like a giant infomertial for the coming apocalypse and that if you don't convert to christianity you will fry in hell.
fear tactics.

gonna figure out who won photoconest this week now and then announce the new theme.
i wonder what the new theme should be?

pooka is actually starting to be energetic now :)
right now he is playing with sebastian :)
it's so good to see that!

almost 8pm! wow! i guess the day goes fast when you wake up at 4!
finally got through the emails.
but still sorting of other things to do that are too boring to explain.
but i hope to be done soon so i can just relax.
then must go into photocontest and figure out the winners.
then clean the kitchen a bit and get caught up on dishes and laundry.
and then finally go into bed and watch some tv and smoosh with ALL the puppies, most especially the pookadog.
at 9pm there is that show "revelations" so i think i will watch that.
*whew*
so much to catch up on when your life gets thrown curveballs!
tomorow i send off lots of packages at the p.o.
jaosn brough my home some sandwhiches and chocolates from anutie's birthday.
they were the tiny square kind for parties with tookpicks in them.

i could only eat one.
i don't really have my appetite back.
but when i was at the furs last night i did get a meal and finally ate some.
my head hurts and i'm still kind of stressed.
but my stress is leaving me which each hour that i get stuff done and catch up on everything.

i am really so lucky to have all of you who support me through so much stuff in my life!

i cannot WAIT to getting back to having a normal life and creating new music and making new photos and things for you!

oh, i guess it's time for me to give pooka his medicine again.
i have to give it to him twice daily.
it's in liquid form so jason holds his head and then a drop the liquid in with this syringe.

trying to get caught up with emails.
writing everyone back.
everyone who wrote me from australia because they saw the documentary i am in on tv.
and then trying to figure out who donated to the pooka fund and who bought posters and cds.
trying to get it all straight! make sure i know what is what!
it's a lot to sort through but i'm getting there :)

wow, i slept until 4pm! that is just how exhausted i was!
pooka seems pretty tired, too.
he is acting normally and stuff. but is just very sleepy.
i'm sure he didn't get much sleep at the hospital.
i give him a small amount of medication for his intestines 2 times a day for the next few days.
and just keep watch over him to make sure he doesn't throw up or have diarreah.
so far he hasn't.
still no string, tho.
so maybe he either #1 didn't eat as much as i thought he did or #2 it will come out of him eventually in a bunch.
or #3 maybe by this time it has dissolved by the acid in his stomache? heck if i know.
all i know is he seems to be ok for now.

the total bill came to : $868.30
wowza!

but with your donations, and i got a cheque from my dad for my birthday for $250, also jason is also going pay whatever is left over, this bill is fine and paid for :)

so thank you all for your financial and emotional support!!!
it means so much to me and to pooka!!!

hopefully now the drama has ended in my life for a good long time :)

and i can just get back to being creative and happy.
i look forward to next week being completely UNEVENTFUL :)
(except for that tomorrow is my birthday and next week i am going to a few more music shows like Angels of Light, M83, and Animal collective)

last night is was so fantastic to see the psychedelic furs!
i have never seen richard butler so energized!
usually he just kind of swings and sways in a very slow bowie-like way.
but last night the guy was pogoing like a madman and twirling and running around and he did this for the whole show!
i've never seen richard butler be THAT hyper! :)

i love that band soooo much. they are probably in my top 10 all favourite bands.

today i was going to go have a birthday dinner for jason's great aunt who turned 94!
i really i wish i could have gone but i was massively exhausted and wanted to keep an eye on pooka.

i think today i will do absolutely NOTHING and relish in that.

oh, and i got to keep all the x rays of pooka! so cool!
i must think of a way to display them :)
