a man is coming to get ne of my mannequins
tomorrow at 10am.
and another person, a person i knwo, is coming to get another on saturday.
it's really hard to part with them, and really hard to part with them for
1/3rd of their worth.
but i need to make room for new things in my life, and i need the money.
it's it's not like i didn't get lots of use out of them.
and i still have so many mannequins.
and it's not like i can never get any more some other day.
and i can't believe i am parting with so many dolls. those were my prized
posessions for so long.
but i am just ready to let go of them and make way for new energy.
and i'm proud of myself for having the strength to let go of these things.
and i'm glad i found the strangth to take pictures of the stuff and sell them.
now i just need to get everyone's addresses matched to what they bought and
keep that all straight.
and then box all this stuff securely so i can mail it.
and you know how i procrasinate on things like that.
but i do have a few boxes at the present tie. and so i am going to work really
hard today on organizing all of this so i don't get overwhelmed by it.
i feel energy and strength today to do these things.
i'm really relieved to have made some money, and it's enough to catch up on
my rent until the next month hits.
so far i've made maybe about 400 bucks. but we'll see how much gets taken
out for shipping, because i didn't factor shipping into that. so maybe i made
$350 or so.
so i have enough to pay rent now, but not if janey cashes the cheque i sent
them last month for my server bill which they said they never recived and
now i'm trying to email them to see if they got it yet or what is up with
that. if i have to cancel that cheque it will be a bummer because i think
it costs about $20 to cancel a cheque.
but by the 5th, which i have til to pay my rent before they fine me, i should
have enough in there to pay rent and also for janey to cash the cheque on
last's months server bill.
and then i must pay THIS months, plus the last 2 months of phone and electricity.
*whew*
if only i get get AHEAD of this money game instead of just barely making it
or falling behind, that would be great!
and so off i go to tackle the organization of boxing all this stuff and finding
the addresses nestled in all the emails.
gmail threads things in a weird way that is a little confusing for me.
i'm listening to elliot smith's album that he made right before he killed himself. so sad.
also, jason found this new band called
"animal collective" that i LOVE! i have "sung tongs",
i think that is what it's called. it's reminds me of pink floyd's "more",
but FAR weirder!
i just am really blown away by them!
ok...onward!
here's the last of the collages (for awhile):
Horoscope for Aries (March 3 2005)
You can do well if you are on the
move and eager to get things done. Your ability to take control and problem-solve
will lead to an opportunity you least expect. Don't be too trusting.
and
Big plans
You are inclined to make big plans and set long-range goals under this influence
as well as to examine the goals you already have. The advantage you have now
is your ability to see the whole picture and to think in terms of large structures.
You are more inclined to think in ideal, abstract terms. But also your foresight
and planning ability make this a favorable time for most commercial transactions
and business deals. However, there is a negative side to this influence that
can be destructive if you are not aware of it. You are sloppy about details
and inclined to overlook any elements that don't fit neatly into your grand
vision. Also there is a danger that in communicating with others you may adopt
an arrogant or self- righteous tone that will alienate them and set them working
against you.
