i can't get into hotmail again.
but if i switch my lj comments to go to gmail, then for some reason i only receive about 1/3rd of the replies i get.
so frustrating!

here is that silk yarn i made and dyed with koolaid crocheted into a square with a Q hook (my beautiful ebony Q hook *dreamy sigh*). i LOVE it! after i crocheted it i washed it twice and put it in the dryer to make sure all excess dye was out...but all the dye stayed and didn't fade at all! and sticking it in the dryer made all the poofy bits more poofy :)

this isn't going to be a hat now, but i think this is the front of a oversized "sweater" thing i am going to make that might just be the most magnificent sweater thing that ever has lived on this planet when i get done with it!
(i hope..and yes, i probably exaggerate because i'm just so excited :)

i think the pluckyfluff mohair will be added to this. it's going to be so textural and delicate yet totally "substantial" and SOFT! i am really excited about this :)

i love the texture and colour! i wish you could see and touch this in person so you could all ooo and ahhh with me :)

i definitely need to buy more of this white recycled silk fiber to spin!
i hope i can find more.
