having a hard time sleeping because of the sleep paralysis thing.

i don't have name for this hat, so i just call it "my hat", 'cause it's mine and not for sale :)

i spun all the yarn for it yesterday from recycled silk and flax!

i LOVE how it turned out! :) it actually looks better on me than on the mannequin but i don't feel like taking photos of myself today, so perhaps i'll show it on me another time.

now i must take a nap...

i'm taking a break today, from picture taking, from writing, from the computer (mostly)
i may even go back to sleep.
right now i am crocheting.
no music, no tv, just quiet.
it's nice :)

go look at the photos from the last few days in past anagrams. i had a huge creative streak. i worked my ass off :)
i am proud of my work and i hope you enjoyed it or will enjoy it. (as i did making it!)

not to say more photos are not on their way (i feel very creative!) but it's only midnight and the day hs not yet begun.

and so just this small text so far.

there is a minnesotan republican senator who is a fan of mine (as well as some people from the pentagon). i will never reveal who he is. he seems to be genuinely sweet and kind and in politics for the right reasons. he invited me to meet him to discuss "the issues" and so i would not paint republicans with such a broad brush. it was his invitation. he's been teasing me with this for a few years, just DO it already!
i accepted. he didn't reply. i wrote him back to remind him of his invitation. i hope he is action and not just talk.

i really hope it happens (finally after this many years). i will never reveal who he is but i would have a lot of respect for a politician who would meet with me face to face to listen to me and i would listen to him. i think it would do a lot of good and could heal, if that is his intent. it would be good for opposites to meet and discuss things rationally and see each other as actual human beings.
