i neeeed the new bjork cd nowwwwwwww!!
+++
i had the most intense dreams last night about christ, forgiveness, michael jackson, being paralyzed from the neck down, anger, a car out of control...so much...too surreal to really put into words.
+++
whenever i don't music or the tv
on i get songs stuck in my head like "jimmy crack corn and i don't care...my
masters gone away..."
wtf is up with that?
it's enough to drive a person crazy.
i have to go find the lyrics to that song and finally maybe know once and
for all what in the heck that song is about.
other damn stupid songs i get stuck in my head:
"i've been working on the railroad"
"this little light of mine (i'm going to let it shine)"
this weird jingle for chiquita bananas in the 70's.
"halligan"
"if you're happy and you know it (clap your hands)"
"bingo"
"hunk of tin"
ohmigod this PLACE (http://www.bussongs.com/) is IT! THESE are all the songs that get stuck in my head. damn you people who wrote these songs and damn you to all the people who passed them on to their children so that our minds would be plagued by them til the day we die!
who knew that as i was learning these songs it would be the very most subsconscious , always there, soundtrack to my mind?
why can't i have some COOL song plague my mind when there is silence...like eleanor rigby or here comes the sun or...man, i'd even take jumping jack flash or maybe even stairway to heaven.
but jimmy crack corn??? why god why????
parents with small children: make sure to not play any music around them that you don't want them to have stuck in thir minds tape looping forever, even 38 years later?
11:43pm
cds bought today: lamb: what sound
frou frou: details
and downloaded emiliana torrini...
10:58pm
fuzzybumblebee and i both look
so drunk! but i assure u, she was not.
she didn't even have 1 drink, but i was plenty tipsy :)
4:35pm
2:35pm
i stayed up for 3 extra hours to
see bjork at the opening ceremony of the olympics and then they didn't show
her! wtf? other people saw her on nbc, but when they repeated it again they
took her out??? sadness. i wanted to see her soooo much! and the commentary
NBC had over the ceremony was just embarassing. buw wow, what a spectacle
it was!
it was like if cirque du soleil had 5 billion dollars to spend on one evening.
amazing.
today is just doing the usual. then
taking the camcorder in to get fixed.
and then going out to eat with jason and 2 of his friends.
2:22am
haiku for myself if i died right now:
ana voog was here
she searched for hidden treasure
pleasure in the small
2:20am
i was going to bed then i found out that bjork is singing in the beginning of the olympics, which are just being repeated now..and so i am compelled to watch...
holy freaking expensive show!
