i took jason to "the melting pot" and it was good! not outstandingly great or mindblowingly great but just....good :)
jason had a great time and thought it was totally worth it and so, for that, it was worth it.
we had a really pleasant waiter and now i want to throw fondue parties because i know i could do better :)

i am so full, i am ready to explode. it is like the monty python skit where the guy cannot even eat one more wafer thin mint.

i definitely need to excercise tomorrow!

today has been a very up and down exciting scary wonderful joyous day!

i need to chill out now and SLEEP!

i am a lucky lucky person on this planet earth. very very true.

i'm leaving in a few minutes to take jason out to dinner for his birthday :)
we are going to go to the melting pot. i sure wish i had my camera to take pictures of it! gah!
i have my little toy aiptek, but that doesn't work very well in low light, but maybe i will take it with anyway, just in case i can take a photo of SOMETHING.
but i should have a new camera soon!!!

camera update!!!

well, my gosh! what a whirlwind!

yesterday i wrote this and was just about to send it off to you:
( what i wrote in here yesterday)

i was very excited and even made enough money to get a BETTER camera than i had before and even some new accessories like a fisheye lense.
before my camera (nikon 990) was 3.0 megapixels and with the new one i was going to get (nikon 8700) it was 8.0 megapixles which would allow me to create prints that are 20" by 30"! plus i would be able to make movies with sound that were twice as large as my old camera which made movies with no sound.

my heart and mind were soaring with the possibilities!

BUT...today ikea found my camera! they called me and told me and i am going to go and pick it up tomorrow. how ODD that i feel SAD that they found my camera!

but it would be unethical of me if i did not tell you and let you know!

and so, i will go into my paypal and return all of the money to everyone who donated, and if you sent me a cheque, i will not cash it, and if you sent me cash, i will mail that cash back to you, and for those of you who let me charge their credit card, i will credit your credit card back!

but before i do that, here is my proposition....

if you would like me to keep the $ you so KINDLY donated so that i can get this new and better camera with it, i will sell my old nikon 990 (the one that was stolen but now is returned) on ebay, and i will donate ALL the proceeds from it to charity.

so, i will wait to hear back from you on whether or not you would be willing to go with this offer. if i hear nothing back from you, i will assume that means that you DO want your money back, and so i will return it to you on monday. (or if you email me back and say you want your money back right now, i will return it to you right now)

and, of course, when i get the new camera, i will still then send you the photos and movies you requested that i will make from it!
