freaking out a bit.

something i just wrote in both my ljs and also the twin cities lj community:

make up artists needed!! (and one photographer)

for my hat show on the 25th at first avenue's main room (voltage fashion amplified, 17 designers, 10 live bands!), , i found out that i am the last one on, so the pressure is on me even more.
to make it even more pressurized, i found out that the 10 make up artists that they said would be available to me, will not be. since most cannot stay for the entire of the night. this leaves me with ONE make up artist who told me that the make up he usually does is for weddings!
and so he doesn't even the colours of make up i need either, which is mostly black and silver. so i will go buy those myself.

and i need cyberpunk make up for 15 models! and i have somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes to get the make up on them! so, even if i helped this one make up artist, and even tho the make up i am need is SORT of simple, there is no way on earth that this is going to work out, so needlessly to say i am PANICKING to the the Nth degree!!!

so, i am sending out the "bat signal" to people who know how to apply make WELL, and who can help me! and i'm not sure, but i think you need to be over 21 as i iam not sure if this is an all ages show.

i am on very last with a band called faux jean.
i don't know what time EXACTLY they are on, but i am guessing it's late, as bands that are the headliners are always on late. 11pm?

i have no money to pay you. but i can give you things like, you can come over to my house and check out what i have, i have a lot of cool stuff, and i'm sure there must be SOMETHING in my house you will take a fancy to. coffee table books, jewelry, maybe i could give you a hat from the show, free ana2.com for lots of months, dolls, trinkets, i don't know...but i know there is something i could give you i could compensate your time. and i can get your name out as an artists or whatever it is you need you name out as. i'll link to your website on my site, i'll let everyone know about you on on mailing liost of 6,000 people!
i would only need you for an hour, i am guessing, i will suply the make up. and i don't need you to be a professional make up artist, but i do need you to understand make up and have a bit of artistic flair with it.
i need people who are truly confident that they can help me.

if i could get make up people to help me, and even help me with stuff like stuffing the models hair into the hats, or putting their hair in braids, etc, just whatever needs to be done, that would be cool, too. but i just cannot be in charge of 15 models all by myself especially since i am freaking "headlining" this entire show, in a way! so aaaa!

i also need a professional or (semi-professional) photographer who would like to follow me around for the evening and document my show! i am going to be taking my own camera, but i have a feeling i am going to be way too busy to actually take any photos. you, obviously, can own the rights to the photos you take, i just want to be able to put them up on my website. i'll also, of course, link to your photography and make sure to get the word out to you! this should be a very fun evening to run around and document stuff! if you would be interested in this, please , also, let me know :)
