10:11pm
well, i took all the stuff out of
my hair which is depressing but it needed to be done because my real hair
was a mess under there and i need to give my real hair a break and comb it
out. also, i want to be able to try on the hats that i am making for my show.
also, it will be a lot cooler now for when the weather gets warmer.
i'm going to go take a bath now and try to comb my hair out. it will take
awhile. i'll put a lot of conditioner in it.
6:17pm
5:20pm
i can't decide if i should take all the stuff out of my hair. i think i should or else my real hair is going to dread and i'm not going to be able to comb it out. augh. i hate to take it out. but...for the sake of my hair maybe i should....arrrrgh. it's been in for 4 months now.
4:57pm
i need something. like excitement or chocolate or sex or loud music or a ride on a motorcycle or some new food to try or SOMETHING. and i want to be well and have my energy back. ya, i need a good hot summer day and something new to titilate my senses. and i want it NOW.
3:17pm
well, i ordered my stainless steel
yarn from texturatrading.com for my birthday present from the people who bought
gift certificates to ana2, etc, so that i could but this yarn! yay! thank
you! :)
and i even got a wholesale price for it so i got to buy twice the amount i
thought i would be able to buy because for some serendipitious reason the
woman decided she could sell it to me wholesale since i have a business :)
so instead of buying it for 85 a spool, i got it for 48 a spool :)
and i bought 4 spools.
kick ass!
it may take awhile to get it because it sounds like a small company and the people who ship the yarn are off with their kids on vacation or something. so sometime next week they will ship it to me. i am so curious as to what this yarn is and how it feels and how heavy it is. i can't wait to get it and crochet something really weird and spectacular with it! :)
*skippity skippity skip*
here's what they say about the yarn i bought:
"100% Stainless Steel yarn, composed of 12 micron (one-half of one-thousandth of an inch) continuous steel fiber. In 316L steel, optimized for chemical resistance, we have 2x275 fiber yarn (two strands, 275 fibers per strand), approx 500 ypp..."
i have no idea what all that means. i just know it's composed of a lot of very tiny strands. and they say it is soft (how strange), and it is semi-shiny.
