i completely forgot that today was easter. how odd.

these pix don't show it very well, but i dressed up like a raggedy anne doll to go to the squarepusher show.
it was completely amazing. one of the best shows i've seen in quite some time!
there was so much sound and lights it put one in a trancelike state. strobes were flashing wildly all over the place.
you wouldn't have wanted to be there is you suffer from epilepsy!
but the surprise highlight of the evening was opening act, kenny muhammad who was a human beatbox.
this was no ordinary beatbox stuff. this was completely at a whole new level and i was transfixed with my mouth gaping open the entire performance. and he could make notes that were 3 notes, like those certain buddist monks do.
i do not understand at ALL how he did what he did. it was pure genuis!

but now my hair smells like cigarettes and it's grossing me out.
