10:58pm

i never thought i'd see bob dylan in a victoria's secret commercial.

the tv show "the swan"

thoughts on this?

i didn't get out today. i don't know how time moves so fast sometimes.
i'm not getting much crocheting done because when i sit in my bed or on a chair, i start to hurt.
so i am going to crochet on the floor and see if that helps.
i'm waiting to hear back from my friend carolyn, who is a masseuse, to see if she thinks she can help me.
and i'll go that route 1st. people's oponion on who i should go to about this pain is split pretty evenly, so i guess it is still up to me.
i'm going to try the massage route 1st, since that is the cheapest way to go.

taken from helloyarn:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

"researchers have conducted a number of experiments demonstrating that one's level of life satisfaction can be enhanced simply by shifting one's perspective and contemplating how things could be worse."

funeral party

i think it would be interesting to have one's funeral BEFORE one died. this way everyone can say what they would like to say to you before you die and not feel any remorse for things left unsaid. and some friends may never get to say goodbye as they will die first! and you could make a huge happy celebration of it. of course, it's completely egotistical as well. but so are birthdays. it would be the opposite of a birthday party, but at the same time, exactly like a birthday party as death is also a birth. i think i may do this someday. i think it would be fascinating and fun to do :)

(i hope no one takes this entry as a sign that i am depressed. i am absolutely NOT depressed or suicidal in any way) :)

1:55am

you decide

ok, my shoulder/neck is not getting any better. whether i have a pinched nerve or some sort of sprain i do not know (i think it is a pinched nerve). i've never had something like this before. so my question to you is, do you think i should go to a regular doctor for it? or should i go to a chiropractor? i've never gone to a chiropractor before so i know nothing of it. i am leaning towards thinking of going to a regular doctor but i cringe at the thought of all the money i will have to shell out for that. money i do not have. a chiropractor is cheaper, i think.

chiropractor or regular doctor?
what the majority rules i should do is what i will do.
(at least what i will do first)
