a dream about electrikat, i told her:

"hey, i forgot to tell you that i had a dream last night that you were crocheting things with tiny thread and then putting them in the wash to shrink them even more.

one hat you made...the thread was so thin that it was not visible to the naked human eye anymore and the only way you could even tell that the fabric was there was from the light reflecting off of it. so when you looked at it, it looked like water :)"

kat wrote back to this:

"whoa ana! what have you tapped into here.
for two days i have been crocheting the thinest thread, called 11thwonder thread from the
new spinner at pluckyfluff.com.
and it is green but reminds me of the ocean and that is what i have been saying for the past few days " doesn't this remind you of water, dan?"

so when i read that dream just now i had to read it out loud to dan and we both just looked
at each other:) "

i don't expect many of you will know who that is. but i LOVE him. his music is incredible.
his diary goes back 4 years so i have started from the beginning and i am so happy to find out that i love him as a person, as well. he is a middle aged cranky english man with a very funny sense of humour :)
he has worked wit people like robert fripp and harold budd, etc.

in stupider and stupider news. i am angry with my mother again. but i don't feel like writing or talking about it yet.

thank goodness survivor is on in 10 minutes.
i'm going to turn on my heater and cosy up with the dogs.
i'm frying up some chicken breasts wit toasted sesame oil and soy sauce.
