11:59pm
it's my lucky week!
i must be in some sort of insane lucky streak because i just sold the silver
bubble hat to the same person!
i am totally so much just...happy..speechless...grateful :)
i haven't even been able to try that hat on myself yet as my hair is too big
to wear it! i must now detach from ever thinking i will wear that hat..must
detach...must...let go...
:)
now i can pay off a doctor bill that needs paying off :)
i feel like i am floating in some sort of little serendipitious bubble of
universal grace and luck :)
maybe i will use some of that money to buy some stainless steel yarn and some
retroreflective yarn from texturatrading.com
good to put some of the money back into the hat pot, so to speak.
10:41pm
wow, check this out :)
connaissent mentioned philip treacy to me.
http://www.philiptreacy.co.uk
i didn't know who that was so i am doing an image search on him right now
and came up with this hat!
for a person who makes such astonishing hats, i'm shocked his website is so
cheesy!
and now i've also found this:
http://www.hatcenter.com/
and there is even a hat magazine!
http://www.thehatmagazine.com/
i must get it!
hell, ya, THIS is what i have been
looking for :)
plug me in!
7:08pm
money spent:
34.67 for:
bread, 4 cokes (vanilla coke, diet coke, caffeine free coke, diet 7up), 2
red bulls, colby cheese, liverwurst, 2 dove dark chocolate bars, a dozen eggs,
1 can condensed milk (for coffee), sominex, rubbing alcohol, pretzels
eaten today: 1 fortune cookie and 1 coke.
watching survivor now!
6:09pm
my potatoes are growing :)
it makes me excited for spring :)
it's so dark today, i couldn't get any really good intricate pictures of this hat. and then some of these photos are blurry :( but i'll just redo them on a day that has better light. and i know it's overkill to show 9 pictures of it, but i wanted to show it to you from all angles and all the ways it can be set on the head.
the silver beads are vintage and
they are glass. i wish i could find some more like them. they were given to
me long ago by jacqui :)
they are hollow, like little mini xmas tree ornaments.
if anyone ever finds any beads like this, PLEASE let me know!
(ok, looking on ebay now under christmas garland glass, and i'm finding it!
but it's oh so expensive!)
some of the wool is handspun some by me and some by pluckyfluff, and some i bought on ebay here and there.
and the silver is i think "lionbrand
lame"
i don't know how to type that little accent over the e.
i don't know what i will price this
hat at. i am thinking perhaps $299
