what i ate today:
1/4 candy bar, 1 budget gourmet clams and linguini, 4 kiwis, 2 slices of pizza, 1/2 cantaloupe, 1 pear, 3 dates, 1 coke, 2 tablespoons of almond butter drizzled in honey (yum!)
10:18pm
i found out that richard sharah did
NOT commit suicide.
thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
his cloest friend wrote to me this:
"He died in his kitchen of asphyxiation, his arteries were so clogged up that the blood could not flow properly and feed all the vital organs. It would’ve been like fainting and I was told it would’ve been a “gentle death”."
i don't exactly understand that....
i can see why this person was richard's
closest friend.
i am looking at his website now:
http://www.users.bigpond.com/regis_huet/makeup/makeup.html
and his style is identical to richard's!
wow!
i am floored. i will have to take in the entire site later.
i am feeling better about the yarn
now.
jason likes the colours. and i rethunk how i would make it.
and i am now making really long tubes that are as long as the bed with my
little mattel knitter thing.
and then i am going to crochet these together in stripes.
it's going to be a very delicate summery blanket.
it would actually make a gorgeous shawl.
this rayon chennille i am in love with, it's like a very delicate drapey suede
:)
6:22pm
i'm not really liking my brown roots
with this hair.
it worked when i had brown extensions mixed in...but with mostly all white,
it doesn't work as well.
i'm going to tie in a bunch of brown and black yarn to even things out a bit.
but this will make my hair a lot more heavy and also it will take forever
to dry whenever i wash it.
but i gotta do what i gotta do...
if i add black my hait is going to look a lot like christina aguileras hair
when she had those extensions. but i did like her hair a lot.
but i will not be looking forward to all the "your hair looks like christina's
hair" comments i will inevitably get.
4:56pm
the presents i bought for jason for
xmas FINALLY came today.
i'm wearing the "pryamid power" hat on my head right now. haha :)
ohhhm.
and the yarn i got to make him a blanket is not what i was expecting.
the tencel yarn is so thin it is as thin as embroidery thread...and it is
not as shiny and lustrous as it looked in the photos on their site :( it looks
like a cottton yarn and not like the silk i was expecting. but it feels silkier
than cotton.
and the colours are not at all as intense as the photos on their site. argh.
and one is just an orange that i am not too fond of. what a bummer.
so expensive, too.
hmmm. i am not happy about it. but i guess that is what you get when you order
yarn on the internet and cannot really see it and touch it first. although
all my internet yarn buying experiences have been positive, this one is not.
and the fact that this yarn cost me so much bums me out.
the chennille is pretty, tho. and maybe i can make a smaller blanket from
that. i'm not sure....
i'm not sure if i only use only 1/2 of this if it will be a big enough blanket.
hmmmm.....
i'll take a picture of the yarn tomorrow
when it's light out.
i can't capture anything's true colours when i don't have daylight.

if someone commits suicide..that puts a whole new spin on things doesn't it? :(
i finally emailed the person that put his eulogy together...
http://www.dbi.com.au/~rsharah/eulogy/eulogy.html
can u imagine having made an impact on tthat many people?
i mean, he was such a spiritual guide.
such a light in the darkness.
there are no words for it. you just had to meet him.
he shone. he touched you. he gave you hope.
for it to maybe be suicide..i am
just so confused...so understanding..
so afraid...so angry...and i feel such guilt.
5:19am
was at jason's watching movies and return to see someone posted in my LJ about richard sharah, a friend of mine who died a few months ago. they said that australian vogue insinuated it was suicide. and if this is true...i am just...
no words.
i must find out how he died. i must.
