beef vs. soy
does anyone know where i could find the hard cold facts on how much time/energy/money/water is used to make 1 pound of soy vs. 1 pound of beef?

and i want to compare these facts with 1. organic farming for both of these products and 2. farming the "regular" pesticide way.

and then beef vs. soy on how hard this is on the land (waste, etc)

and then last, the nutritional value of 1 pound of beef vs. 1 pound of soy.

ok, i am recovering.
after much caffeine latre my headache is finally subsiding :)
just a nice mellow evening with my little jew :)

i have good friends. got a few little prezzies that cheered me :)

i wish jason's present would have made it here on time. i ordered it on the 13th. i dunno where it is...

i'm crocheting a hat for a friend.

eebomb got me a JUICER! her mom was going to give it to the goodwill.
i am EXCITED about this! those things are expensive! it's an acme juicer.

a surprise person sent me a cash gift which helped pay for 1/2 my server bill for this month.
yay!! kindness from unexpected places! that really helped me out!

things are good. i have a bit of xmas cheer going on :)
i feel happy now.

i bought some ice cream for later. cherry garcia :)

i had terrible nightmares.

i dreamt a bunch of men kept kidnapping women and then burying the women alive heads first.
but they would bend them over so that their butts were still above ground.
then, as the women were still alive but suffocating...they would take a chainsaw and stick it up with butts , slicing them open.

while the women lay dying and still warm and fresh, the men would then fuck the bloody holes.

they were going to do this to me but i got a hold of the chainsaw and ran after them all through the woods and killed them all.
but i was scared that i did not get all of them.

of course, i was then wanted for murder.

then mtv came out with a new kurt cobain video. and it was all movies of his rotting corpse underwater.
then they paraded his rottting corpse through the street on a bed.

it was just horrible.

anyway, this is part of the reason it take me so long to get to bed.
i just hate having these nightmares. and i get sleep paralysis on top of it.

i then woke up to a nasty headache and dealt with some really stupid lj stuff.

no wonder i am in a crabby mood.

i'm going to try to shake myself out of this mood now.
and jason got home from work and he's going to come over after he has cleaned his bathroom.

i don't know what we will do tonight.
probably not much.

tomorrow we are going to go to a movie with 2 of his friends.

oh ya, i just remembered another dream...

i was trying to be a fruitarian and talking to other fruitarians.

and they would eat this cheese that was sucked from the stomache of a living cow. the cow had to be sick with a temperature of 93 degrees.
then they would stick a vacuum tube down its throat to suck out this layer of cheese that would form.

it was seriously gross.

i was like, "you WON'T eat tofu but you will torture a sick cow to get this cheese out of it's stomache?"

i'm afraid to go to sleep tonight now :(

i did go to sleep at 9:30pm...
but then i woke up at 1am.
i'm going to try to go back to sleep soon.
