i am contemplating my manifesto letter goodbye to jennicam.
jennicam leaving has affected me in a way i cannot quite put into words yet...

it always makes me feel so strange to spill my guts to you
yet get very little feedback.
that's ok, you don't OWE me feedback, but it still makes me feel odd.
like i am talking to an empty room yet i know it isn't empty.
but maybe it is...i always assume that all 140 members are reading everything i say...
yet just today a member asked me how much more $ i needed until i got my new cam.
and i'm like...i bought it weeks ago, you didn't notice?
so....
i am obviously assuming that i am being noticed a lot more than i actually am.
it would be nice if i KNEW how much attention i was receiving just so i would understand the reaction i was getting a lot more than i am.

when i 1st started my cam, and i didn't have a bbs or lj, obviously emails would pour in faster than i could even answer them.
it was like a chatroom. then thank goodness actual chatrooms and forums were made.
now there are so many places for people to talk , it's so much more spread out and sometimes i feel i am here all alone.
and that's ok...i like to be alone...but at the same time i am not used to it.

i just wish i knew the reasons for the silence.

spinning angora really thin is hard. it takes forever.
jason did well at his presentation at school so we are going to go out now to celebrate!

i feel so boring and normal without my rock star hair!
i need my rock star hair back!

ok, finally mailed off the rubber ball. got some cheques in the mail that i really needed to pay rent.
i haven't eaten anything yet today except a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese and i'm not even hungry.
i was dreaming i was hanging out with madonna last night.
but it was very stressful. not because of her but because of everything else in the dream.
i think there was murder in the dream. or some sort of torture or rape.
i can't remember now.

i don't know what i'll do now.
i feel sort of lost.
maybe i just need to eat something.

i ordered some niddy noddys made of pvc for 7 bucks each.
niddy noddys are what you wrap your yarn around after you've spun it...to get it off the wheel. so far i've wrapped around glass bottles or books.
but with niddy noddys you can know the total length of your yarn you've made by how many rotations it takes to wrap.
this will be better for when i want to sell my yarn because now i can tell people how many yards it is.
and pvc is better than the traditional wood because i can take the yarn off my wheel and dip it straight into water to set it and just let it dry right there on the niddy noddy.
this will help me out a lot.

things i still need for my wheel:
a second large plying bobbin $18, a quill $33.25, and a lazy kate $20.
for the lendrum wheel.

figured out that it won't be until april 7th of 2005 that anacam will have lasted as long as jennicam did!
that is A LOT of time!

who else has a 24/7 uncensored cam that is still going now?
there is stvlive.com but she is censored somewhat (no nudity).
but she would be the closest now to what i do...i think..
who is left?
i thought venuscam was still going 24/7 but apparently is not and i don't know when she stopped being 24/7.
isabellacam is still going on from "the old days" but hers is a showcam not a lifecam.

i really need to write a brief history of webcams and put it on the internet.
write everything you know down in this post so i can do that. i was going to do that long ago but then never did. but i really will do it this time.
and at least it will be written about HERE so that when people do a search for "history of webcams" they will find this post.
so, if you have a cam write down when you started it and what type of cam it is. showcam, artcam, lifecam, workcam..24/7 or no..censored or no. etc.
i only want cams that started 1996- 1998
because after that they just get to be SO many that is completely impossible to keep track of.
