6:37pm

hi! i'm home :)

my dad's surgery went really well. it was for his hernia.
after it was done, he didn't even take any pain medication! he just did remarkably well with it.
it was great visiting and taking care of my dad, although he didn't even need that much taking care of.
i mostly just made him meals, kept the house clean, got him fresh ice for his wound, and helped him when he needed to get up.

pooka had a good time, too, being the center of attention!

my dad and i watched lots of movied: topsy turvy, chicago, and all about schmidt.
i enjoyed them all but most especially schmidt with jack nicholson. what a fantastic movie.

i took lots of pictures which i will get up very soon.

i'm sorry i didn't write much from his house, his internet connection and super old laptop was just excruciatingly slow and not even worth it to even try to get online with.

i wish my dad and i lived nearer each other so we could hang out more. we like to do many of the same things.
he felt the same way. i think he has a little bit of a new appreciation for me which makes me happy.

i haven't even seen jason yet, but he is on his way home now.
he pretty much had THEE week from hell both with work and with his health,
so now it's time for me to take care of him!

sebastian and deiter were spoiled by him while i was gone, so when i arrived home expecting them to be hysterically happy to see me...they just acted as if i had hardly been gone at all! hmmph..

but i am hysterically glad to see them, my boys :)

tomorrow is anacam's 6th anniversary and i am still contemplating doing an all nude all week.
i just have to settle in my house a bit more before i make a decision on that...

i have to go unpack and clean the kitchen now and just get a few odds and ends done.

and i have to clean the bedroom , too.

cleaning is the last thing on earth on want to be doing right now.

oh, and while i was at my dad's, i was reading "the holographic universe"
which is absolutely fascinating and is about quantum physics and beyond.
i pretty much know everything that is written about in there, so far, but it's nice to read about it again and so succinctly. i just love quantum physics! so exciting.

ah, jason's home!
