the big dog and i

it's a newfoundland. huge as a small bear.
it is the dog of the woman i got my spinning wheel from.

i think this is the type of dog that bit me in the arm all the way to the bone when i was a child and caused my to fear and hate dogs up until i turned 30 and got my own dogs. this dog was sweet and gentle and drooly, tho :)

 

 

i have to fix my computer situation. i don't put up pictures as fast because i need my old version of paint shop pro. this new version drives me nuts. i have to find my cdrom of it. augh. it must be somehwhere. i also need to get a mousepad in here. using the mouse without a mousepad when i get into paint shop pro ( which i use to crop my pictures, etc), is hell. plus i hate sitting on the floor with the keyboard in my lap. so uncomfortable. i don't knw how to fix it yet. so i'll just sit here and whine about it uncontrollably.
