this one here is very dark
.i did it in 1987 when my first boyfriend broke up with me.
it's about my pain over that.
it's done in oil coloured pencil

this next picture was done in ordinary pencil.
it's a self portrait of me in 1990.
i drew it while i was working at ragstock on cardboard that came in a shipment of nylons.

this one is a strange collage i did. just goofing off at home, doodling.

this one is not so great...another self portrait with symbols that were meaningful to me at that point.
a chalice, a train, cogs.
i did it while i was at work at ragstock with nothing to do,too
it's paint markers on cardboard with glitterglue.

this next one is a cartoon i drew of characters called "the king and the snake"
i't's going to be a whole series. actual comic books. these are the two characters in it. this is the one and only drawing of these characters plus the first drawing ever of it. it's kind of like the little prince, but weirder
there are no words in the comic. it's kind of like the "frank" comic, which u can see at
http://www.jimwoodring.com
the king and the snake go around discovering things..like death, or electricity.
or they pay around with stuff like stack plates on their head

this next one is a self portrait of me from 1991.
very edward gorey. pretty dark. i used to dress just like that in dresses from the 20's
i did this one at work too with paintmarkers on cardboard.

this next one is the cover of the spoonesia book...but it's different xeroxes of it in different colour ink and paper put through backwards and forwards then stapled together. i used to stay at kinkos xeroxing for hours on end. someday i want to own my own xerox machine!

here is one of paper glued onto paper, i did in 1984

here's a flyer that i made for my band, the blue up?

this next thing here is something from spoolforkadish. this is the unfinished version.

i found somethng happy! it's a self portrait of me as a faerie ( even nude!) done in 1991 :)

ah, small breasts, pre surgery ;) lol
for some really odd reason, i don't know why...i could part with that one... maybe it's because it;s harder for me to part with my pain...but easier for me to share my joy. i think that's it

here is a silly doodle of an iguana. i was way into iguanas.
just obsessed. i don't know why.

u can have that too :)
this next one is abstract faces..kinda new wave..kinda deco...done in pencil in 1984

here's a block print i made of syd barrett.(doesn't look like him, i know)

here is a little picture i made that said "from our world to yours, hello" with a phone
it was going to go itno spoolforkadish but there wasn't enough room

this next one is called "look said the king" kinda picasso. the rim of the cup and his eye are the same shape..as well as the ufo he is pointing to. i had NO idea what this was about until just recently.
it's this thing that stuck with me. what i found out what it meant was that i am the king..and what my purpose in life is to go "look!" :)
the cup is emotions and the ufo is the unknown...and all this is the same shape as my eye...so it's all in my...yet it's oiutside of me too..since what i'm pointing to is outside.
so look said the king really is about anacam...yet it was drawn way before .
that's the first look said the king..i did another again for spool, and i plan to do a few more in that "series'

that one u see now is another self portrait,...done in1986
it's about me as my past lives being an egyptian

here is a block print i did of a superball...not so great..

here's a linoleum print of a lizard i really dug lizards, especially iguanas.

i'm just showing this one to u because i want u to see it, i made it when i was 16...
don't u think it's weird that no one ever found it disturbing that i drew things like this at 16?
i was using my middle name as a last name there..i was always changing my last name

this one is whimsical.
dr seuss like. a guy playing a flute that fits on his nose and out comes a bird.
i made this when i was 16, too

this next one i won't part with..it's the original art from my first EP called "now" it's just a clock face.
i drew it while i was tripping on acid listening to kate bush's "the hounds of love"

i was also obessed with owls and i'd start crying when i'd draw them, even tho they were silly nad cartoon-like.
the third eye is just...i dunno ...a spiritual awakening above his head?
a doorway he could go if he looked up? his 6th sense?

behind the owl is a doodle i made when i was in california. right as i was making it i met dave navarro for the first time, so when i see that one, that's what i think of.

Things You Should Know About Cake [28 Jun 2001|08:12am]
here is a marvelous thing that knockers wrote (taken from her website):

The best cake for sitting on at a dinner party is CHEESE CAKE. It
will make your panties wet (Ahhh nice!) but won't leave your ass
too sticky. Plus it holds a beautiful ass shaped imprint when
you're done. Better than any Jello mold.

Every cake I have st in (200 to date!) has been devoured by the
audience after the show. People can not resist cake that has had
a clowns ass in it.

I always sit in round cakes with the exception of one show. I was
very disappointed by a square cake and will never sit in a square
cake again. The cake should be round like my ass!

My favorite cake is always lemon or white.

Avoid whipped cream as it rots almost immediately out of the can
and leaves you smelling sour. Especially Cool Whip.

Girls will bite your ass if given the opportunity. No matter how
many times I ask them not to bite me, they always do.

Cake is good lubrication for jerking someone off with your feet.
Do not put sugar stuff in your pussy. That is why I were panties
between me and the cake. Sugar is bad for your pussy.

vote! :) [28 Jun 2001|04:44pm]
"LiveJournal seems to be slipping in the polls, dropping to only a 3% lead over Blogger in the Personal Site category, and leading PayPal in the Services category by just 1% of the vote.

For the past couple days, I haven't had to ask for anyone's vote or post about the race. That's a good thing, since I really don't like having to ask for votes. Still, part of my job is to do what is needed for LiveJournal to succeed, and LiveJournal really could use a Webby award in order to get a fraction of the attention that Blogger or UserLand get for their weblog applications. I hate to do it, but I am willing to ask, plead, and beg in order to accomplish something that would very much help LiveJournal become a more successful open source project and a more successful business. It's just part of the job, even if it is my least favorite part, and I am not willing to explain to Brad when he comes back from his vacation that LiveJournal lost its chance at a Webby because I failed to do my job.

Everyday, Blogger and PayPal pick up votes that we, frankly, never get a chance at, since we are not on the ballot. At this rate, it is quite possible that we can lose our lead in both categories unless we do something about it now.

Please, do what you can to stop this from happening. Write in your vote for LiveJournal for thePersonal and Services awards! If you want to be especially supportive, post to your journal about it. Let's all get together and win this one as a team!

My apologies about having to ask for your help again. I want to thank those of you who have helped us or who have been patient and supportive through all of this. It really has helped to hear from so many of you who really care about LiveJournal and want us to win this thing. So let's win it, already!"
