i threw an imaginary paper airplane out my window.it landed perfectly in a little cement circle on the ground. it will stay there all day. i wonder if it will be noticed.

i imagined throwing myself out my window, but i can never decide what position i want my body to land in. so i never finish that thought...i just think about the options.

i have my foot out my window. thiis part is real. the sun is making my ankle very hot.

in other news. today is a very rainy, coldish, sleepy day. but i don't feel very slee[py, which i am thankful for. and tonite is the season finale of the x files and the sopranos! (and voyager with guest sta "the queen borg"?)
also the simpsons, king of the hill ( and i watch fururama and malcolm in the middle , too, and i kinda like them..kinda )
i need coffee. i need a coffee machine!

I think applying the death penalty for rapists is going a bit too far...
I still recall the days of blacks lynched for even looking at a white girl. You can bet if rape was a death penalty crime mostly blacks would get the chair for it. And rich whites'd walk...
I also have problems with the further criminalization of the male sexual libido. If sex is outlawed only outlaws will have sex to borrow a phrase...

rape has nothing to do with sex or the male libido. it's all about power, control, humiliation.

also, i am not for the death penalty for rape, but if i WAS... the idea that we shouldn't have certain punishments for certain things just because the whites will get off and the blacks won't is , imo, not a good idea.

blacks already are in more jails than whites...but does that mean we should let off all the black rapists because there are more rapists that run free ( this is all hypothetical...i have no idea how many black rapists get put in jail versus white white rapists ).

the fault does not lay on the law, the fault lays on racism. we should move to erase racism , not move to have less punishments for rapists.

a rapist is rapist whether black or white.

to not have more laws for rapists because of racism is then, once again, putting the victims of rape into the least important category of people to help.

I'm glad I moved from Chicago to my sleepy mountain town. I think, though...that the woman had the right idea. I think punishment for rape should be sterilization if not death...
