just got back in from taking pictures. it wasn't a very good picture taking day.
but it was a semi interesting day.

it's shocking to me how many people list cutting and anorexia as interests.

the fad of webcams
some people say the fad of webcams has come and gone.
that may very well be. i do think the novelty has mostly worn off.
fads and trends ARE about novelty, yes?
some say then that anacam and jennicam should just die, as the trend is gone.
but they forget that jennicam was the 1st of that kind. she wasn't jumping on any train.
she has a different agenda than most.
and mine was the 1st artcam, and so , i also, wasn't jumping on any sort of trend. i started the trend. and so i also have a different agenda.

it's not about novelty or being a part of something or some group or some trend for me.
mine is an ongoing work, much separate from any sort of trend. and so, that is why mine goes on and why it will continue to. it will end not because people moved on to some other novel idea or piece of technology. it will end when i deem fit.

and things come and go in waves. anacam's popularity is waxes and wanes, to be sure.
that happens with everything. that's to be expected. that's the way the world works.

but i plan to be the analog synthesizer of webcams :)
others will moved onto digital. people said the synthesizer is dead.
that electropop was a fad and a trend to be forgotten.
but hey, whaddya know...it's back full force now :)
why?
because cool things never die.

like an old fashioned camera, like the XS-70 polaroid camera,
anacam shall remain, forever cool. :)

as luck would have it...i am having a stomache now. so i will clean for awhile until this passes. THEN get outside. i'm listening to A-HA really loud :)

i'm making a microwaved burrito. tonight jason's friend comes over and helps him with the last details of the computer jason made for me for my birthday! i hope it will all work perfectly and tonight i will have a new computer in my bedroom! then i can be on cam when i am on the computer and type to you from my bed! yay!

i should be getting ready to get outside but i'm reading bionicgurl's diary instead. she just recently learned to crochet with her bionic hand! how much does THAT rule? ok...i'm gonna get ready and get outside now. i HAVE to for my mental wellbeing... coffee coffee...where's my coffee?

just woke up. i feel groggy as hell. time for my breakfast of diet coke :) it's all greyish out and 50 degrees. i missed all the good days with my whacked sleeping schedule. but hey, i'm up now...so that is a good sign. i can still call this the morning. :) i can't remember my dreams but i can feel them all still stuck in me.
