When you sign up for a Yahoo mailing list , you are asked
whether you'd like to receive "special offers"
(spam). Most people check 'no.' Well, Yahoo has gone in and
changed all of the "no's"
to "yes's". Here's how you change them back: Go to www.groups.yahoo.com

Sign in with your user ID and password. Once you are
in, there is a row of
links in the upper right hand corner. Click on
"account info".

On the account info page, scroll down to the link
which says "Edit your
marketing preferences" and click on it. Change all
the "yes's" back to
"no's" and then click save changes.

it's windy today and 40 something degrees. it looks like rain is coming in rather suddenly from what was very sunny just a few minutes ago. i opened up one of the windows in my other rooms and have my front door open to create a current for fresh air to come in. and i can really tell a difference in the oxygen levels in my apartment right now. ahhhhh, fresh air...even tho it's cold air, i don't care.

i had a good day...i sent off all the books and i had a delicious greek salad that made me purr :) and some falafel :)
i wore my big new white fake fur hat that is so barbarella and people don't know what to think of me around here with that and my hair and my white fur coat. i'm just a living stuffed animal person or something.
speaking of...i rescued another stuffed bear from a bad fate. someone has been getting rid of their bears by putting them in the hall. so i'm rescuing them. one of them needs a bath. i can't walk past a stray stuffed animal and not take him home with me. my house is just one huge "thing" rescue center.

when i inevitably have to take these dreads out of my hair...i am thinking i would like a haircut like the woman in the movie "the astronaut's wife" that played the wife. i need to find some more pix from that movie of her with really good closeups of her hair. very pixie-like

i don't know...i just do...

oh wait...not THE queen elizabeth...the queen MOTHER...not the queen...
duh. i get confused. pardon me :)

i cannot even comprehend that tomorrow is easter. does not compute.
i'm washing a stray bear. i think i will fill the white box with stray bears. at some point.
a box has so many possibilities.
