it's hard for me to sell this drawing (made on 1991) because it's a self portrait that holds a lot of meaning to me. i made this with paint markers and pen on cardboard. it doesn't look like me as i am now, but at the time i had long red hair and wore vintages dresses. my favourite being from the 20's as in the style depicted here. i am also looking super cranky in this as that is what i wanted to portray...this very angry intense feeling i had. i think i conveyed that intense feeling pretty well. thsi is also very much like something you might find in an edward gorey book who is one of my favourite authors. it's dimensions are 15 1/2" by 6 1/2".

i'm not sure when i made this, but i think it was at least ten years ago. it's a colour xerox with the intention that the xerox would be the FINAL state. and this is the ONLY one in existence. it is a combination of drawings that i did and words collaged from various sources. it's dimensions are 9 1/2" by 8".

it's hard for me to sell this drawing (made on 1991) because it's a self portrait that holds a lot of meaning to me. i made this with paint markers and glitter and pen on cardboard. it doesn't look like me as i am now, but at the time i had long red hair and wore vintages dresses. my favourite being from the 20's as in the style depicted here. i am sitting on this gold elaborate wicker chair from the turn of the century that i owned at the time. it was my favourite chair. the other symbols are that i am holding a cup and my wrist is cut and blood is pouring into the cup. that symbolized to my very life being my abundance and all my emotions being spilled. all of that sustained me. i was SELF sustaining. i didn't get much help to sustain myself anywhere else but by my own sheer willpower. much as it still is today. the cog ( and i also collected cogs because i think they look cool) in the sky is the wheel of life and also a doorway from which death , symbolized as a train, comes. death is also a symbol for rebirth. and so through this painting depicts me, in a powerful position sitting on a throne somewhat...balancing my life and death and rebirth and somehow self sustaining through all the trials and tribulations of my life. it's dimensions are 13 1/2" by 9 1/2".

it's hard for me to sell this drawing (made on 1985 when i went to college for 1 quarter) because it's just so darn cool and this is the last one i have. it is a print i made using linoleum. it's printed on nice handmade type paper. i think it's very comical and i always have a good laugh (and cringe)at this as i remember when i toppled down a hill on my bicycle. i'm sure we've all been there! it's dimensions are 12" by 9".

it's hard for me to sell this drawing (made on 1983 when i was in high school) because it holds for me great sentimental value. Jungle Chums was my first "band" i made with my best friend Mary. "Jungle Chums in Death Valley" was to be the name of our first album.
this drawing represents,
to me, my great love i had for my very best friend in high school, Mary. the
two dancing "chums" represent the both of us.
this drawing is made on coloured paper and it's dimensions are 22" by
17 1/2". and it has a a tiny bit if wear and tear to it because it is
so old.

it's hard for me to sell
this painting (made on 1991) because it really means a lot to me because it's
something that just came out of me that i felt meant something very important
to me, but i didn't know why until later.
it's a king who is holding in his hand a cup. a cup means, to me, abundance
and joy and emotion. also, it is something you could scry into and see the
future. in the sky is a UFO , which means, to me, the future..the unknown,
in inevitable ( i believe ufos are real ). the eye, the cup and the ufo are
all the same shape because they are all the same thing and interconnected.
the eye is more like an inner eye, but it also is equally aware of the outer
world. all of these things working together to see the future, understand
the way the inner world and outer world work together and how they are all
connected.
this painting is like a dream i had while i was awake.
actually, i think it was also a premonition of my cam to come.
as i realized a few year ago that this painting really is about me. i am the
king...and through my cam, i am saying LOOK! look into the unknown and look
into what seems to make no sense and know that it is just as real and tangible
as the cup. don't ignore the dreams which are realities , floating in the
sky in full view of everyone. it's right there! all you have to do is LOOK!
this painting is signed with my legal name, which i went by in 1991.
i did make one more "look said the king" painting way later which
you can see if you have my cd "spool forka dish". it's inside the
liner notes.
this painting is made on cardboard and it's dimensions are 10 1/2" by 18"
