i'm so glad that she is gonna cover the grammy's for entertainment tonight.
she was my fave american idol contestant! when she got kicked out (which
is SUCH a crock of shit), i was so pissed!
i'm not much into american idol this year. i would have been if she
had stayed in the contest.

up reality tv
has anyone been watching this new reality tv show called '"i'm
a celebrity, get me out of here"?
you know me, i love my reality tv no matter how bad it gets...but THIS
show puts a really bad taste in my mouth. the intentions are far crueller
than any other i have seen.
like tonight this poor girl had the task of searching through murky
water with 5 crocodiles in it! and the only safety thing was that there
was one man with a tranquilizing gun for the crocs if something bad
were to happen.
now this is just plain EVIL! i just got done watching a documentary
on crocodiles on pbs and they are nothing to take lightly or fuck with.
they hide in extremely shallow water ever so still and wait for movement
in the water and then they can take your arm off in 2 seconds flat.
if something were to go awry in that murky water withh FIVE crocodiles
in it...there is no way one man with a gun could save you 100%! it's
lunacy!
plus there were snakes in the water that they didn't even PLAN.
i'm glad she was too scared to really go in there because that could
have been disastrous!
i just know these poor people were duped into thinking this would be
like Survivor. i can tell by their reactions to things. and i really
do think the producers of this show have just gone too far in trying
to publically humiliate them.
it just isn't in good FUN. and it isn't in good safety!
at least on fear factor the people KNEW that they were up against terrible
fears going in on it. and they all have each other around for support
( or lack of support ).
but on this show...the people are subjected to fearful things all on
their own. i know they chose to do it that way so the person would be
intimidated into doing the task because they would be all alone and
unsure of themselves.
i'm just pissed about
that crocodile stunt. i'd like to hear what real crocodile wranglers
would have to say about that particular scene there. because i think
it was absolutely awful.

and then there is
another reality show coming called "frontline" something.
i didn't get the full jist of it so maybe i am off here...but i think
it is about just being on the frontline with soldiers right now. and
they are advertising it as "the REAL fear factor" and "the
REAL survivor". how FUCKED is that when WAR is a television programme
being compared to reality tv shows like that? are we THAT fucked up???
yes, i guess we are. it's absolutely SICK.

and i watch the news in the morning and they always have someone there
from the frontline interviewing generals and soldiers like they were
rock stars and this is all some sort of rock concert. does anyone else
get the creeps from stuff like that?
another thing that
gave me the creeps was during one of those interviews was there was
this soldier who was feeling morally conflicted about the war because
after the army he wanted to be a minister. and the lead in line said,
" he wants to save souls...but not until he takes a few"
isn't that CREEPY?
