sorry i was gone for so long. in fact, we didn't even get sushi...we couldn't find a parking spot so we got mongolian bbq :) then....cable tv sucked me in at jason's and spending time with him...i didn't make it back to my house until now. must spend lots of loving time with the pupsters now and get going more on those mini books!
my schedule is still completely whacked. i go to bed at 6am or later and get up at 3 or 4 pm. it totally sucks. i see no sunlight.
in an hour it's an episode of AbFab, then i'll be back again at 9cst.
i'm so tired right now but i know i'll wake up at 10pm and be uo all night like i have been for more than a week now

wow, i got like more than 11 hours of sleep! but i woke up in the MORNING! ( 10 minutes to noon ) i hope to god i can get my schedule back into a somewhat day thing.

drinking diet pepsi twist. my apartment is having a firealarm drill and it's really annoying.
but i should be glad for it because it's that which really got me out of bed.

i let the dogs sleep with me last night and i think that made them happier. i know it made me happier. :)

i had strange dreams that are far too complicated to even put in words. but the things that stick out in my mind most about them is that frank sinatra was going on tour with an unknown vivienne westwood and i had to put the tour together as it was my idea. i was putting together an advertisement for it on top of a piano with a frank sinatra mannequin and a vivenne westwood mannequin. vivienne didn't really want to do it and spoke only french but i told her that if she could just make it through this tour...she would be more apt to break into the movie industry as an actor, which is what she wanted.

then there was some dead guy. the father of somebody. maybe the father of frank. someone big. the coffin was just a huge king sized bed in a box. i had to make this pretty, too, so i started crumbling up thin long shards of pretty glass...as fine as angel hair pasta...and i would break them up very small so it was glass glitter all over the bed. i had to find gloves to do this so i wouldn't cut my fingers. i was trying to get it to spread even;y all over the bed. someone was trying to help me and they were doing an awful job.

i watched as tickets sales poured in for the tour and i saw that i made adam ant 102 trillion so far...but i was wrong it was only 102 thousand. but i was thinking , man, i'm putting this tour together, i wrote all the songs and theparts, and after thsi tour is over one of these people better at LEAST buy me a little house if they take home serveral trillion dollars!

then there was the whole bit with the train...but that's all getting fuzzy now....

today i must work on little books and nothing else!

when i make my next album i can't decide if i should call myself ana voog or just "voog"

fuck! my external cdrom thing uses the same port that my cdpd wireless modem uses! so...to install my modem i need the cd thing in there so i can install the software...but the software won't install unless i have my cdpd modem in that slot TOO! SO I'M SCREWED!!!!!

well, i moved the cd contents into a folder ( maw showed me how ), now i can install me onmcia card except for the fact that the configuration wizard does not see the card! but my vaio DOES see it and my card DOES work in my other computer, so it's not my card's fault. i'm at a total loss.

i think it's that the novatelwireless doesn't have drivers for windows 2000 professional...which is what my vaio is....so....*thinking*

is windows 2000 ( not pro ) the same as windows Me? and then what is XP? what is the deal with all these versions?

ok, i'm using my dial up on my new vaio. i need to get a really long phone cord!
and then i need to find a cdpd card that will work with windows 2000 pro or something. but looks like there is only the merlin...according to novatel wireless.
tried to install win98 but it wouldn't let me.
so right now my vaio cam is going to cam3 in ana2...success at least on THIS scale.

with the new pink mouse image organizer....it will make a slideshow for u and it says that you can then save the slideshow to show other people...but when i save it...it just doesn't work :/
but the new version also will sequentially rename all your images which is WONDERFUL! wish i would've had that feature 4 years ago!
i got the chillcam on my sony vaio to upload images to ana2 :) yay! but i cannot go to any webpage yet because it won't resolve web names..only the actual ip # url things.
something about the dns. i will call novatel tomorrow and ask what's up with that.

just testing this out. i can make these little things with this new logitech i have. maybe you could always make these with a logitech cam and i never looked into it. it's used for video email...then it compresses it for you...but since i made this on my vaio i couldn't send it via email 'cause my cdpd modem is too slow for that. so i had to go find it in a remote temp folder...and i know that SOMEWHERE on that computer there is a compressed version of this vog 'cause i saw it compress it then stick it somewhere...i can't find it tho. and i have to keep it small so it'll fit on a floppy so i can then transer it over here to my main computer and ftp up to my server so u can access it. *whew* i wish there was a simpler way. well, there is...i just need to get another logitech cam!
something something something....i might start a voogvog mailing list...or just put them in here, or just put them in ana2 only. i haven't decided yet. it's all new to me!

as i've said for the past 6 years:

ah, i called up novatel and i got my cdpd modem working. yay!!!now i FINALLY after all this time and trouble have my mobilecam back :) i will test it in a few hours outside 'cause jason and i are going out to eat and i'm going to bring it with. and at under 3 pounds this should be SUCH a beautiful thing :) plus it's itty bitty ( not as small as the libretto ) , so it's be less conspicuous and fit on restaurant tables better :)

now i just want to get a higher end logitechcam and the pictures will then hopefully be much more detailed and not so grainy :)
i really miss the logitech cams ( well, i guess they were connectix..before logitech took them over ) that were black in colour. i could manipulate those to see really well in dim light and i could get all these ghosty images and there wasn't anything grainy about it. all the new logitech ones from then on always are "speckly" in dim light. and that drives me nuts.
